Only seems to work on the high setting. Don’t see anything coming out on low or medium. Also the top piece is very loose, cannot invert when filling without this piece falling off.. should be removable but not this loose. Photo shows medium setting. As you can see no mist coming out. I bought one of these for my first child a few years ago and loved it - quiet, good output, and no leaks. I recently had baby #2, so I wanted to get another one. I have purchased 3 of them and every single one has a problem. The first one hardly put out any mist, even on high. The 2nd and now 3rd ones both leak mist at the seam where the basin meets the tank. Compared to my older one, the tank is so loose sitting on the basin (the older one really sits in it well). The only improvement is that they made the power cord detachable so that you don’t have to unplug from the wall to dump and clean the basin. I was hoping maybe I was just unlucky and got a dud with the first one, but after 3 tries, it’s apparent that the company’s quality control and significantly decreased. ... show more

We have owned a variety of humidifiers over the years, both large and small. This unit is by far my favorite of them all. The size is just right. Not so big that it dominates a space, but large enough to hold enough water to run for a good length of time. It is VERY quiet, and I don't even notice it when it is on. 100 % satisfied. Quiet machine, soft green light is only lit for a few seconds (while making your selection) it automatically goes out and you don’t hear a sound(very important for those that hear everything). Haven’t tried the vapor pads yet. Stay tuned for an update. Recommend to others!
