    • Almost Perfect
I used to detail cars and have used many orbitals. Here are the pros: Lightweight, variable speed, and great handles at any angle. Good power and speed control placement. NO CORD to get in the way constantly and come unplugged. Great for applying wax b/c of lightweight and maneuverability. Good power usage. I waxed an entire SUV with 2Ah battery and it didn't even move the battery level. Seems well made and comparable to corded Craftsman build quality. When on sale it is definitely worth it if you want to ditch the cord. Cons: Biggest Con: The buffer pad is actually 10" and fairly thick...most pads are 9-10 inches which makes finding pads that stretch enough to fit difficult. Because of its lightweight I don't see it being great at buffing out swirl marks post compound. This is where a little weight helps so you don't have to push down on horizontal surfaces. If you put a 4 or 6 Ah battery on it, it vibrates, but the 2Ah battery fits snugly and stays quiet. ... show more

If you have the Craftsman V20 set of tools and batteries. You should pick one of these up. Save some time and energy for your other projects! I put 2 coats of wax on my ram 1500 in no time! Good bang for the buck. The other thing that I was impressed with is that one battery did the whole truck! No more tripping over extension cords, worth it right there. ... show more

I have many Craftsman tools. This one did not disappoint. I have been using it to buff away the oxidation on our towable RV Trailer. It is working great! The trailer seems to have gotten larger. But this is a great tool. Save your arm strength.
