Have used and must say impressed how well made. Many tools (and other things too) are made cheap and expensive. These were well priced and very good quality. Would buy again. In fact, have purchased other Craftsman tools because of this purchase.

I'll try to include photos later, but these performed great! I have many of the original Vise Grip plier models, but most of them are in storage due to an issue with moving around. Instead of wasting time and trying to find tools, it is easier for me to just order some more sometimes. In this case, I am glad I did. The release mechanism is awesome. So much easier than the originals, and I do appreciate the fact that these have the hex wrench fittings in the adjustment screw. I have a feeling that I won't need to look for my other tools so much... Just an observation for you: there are two types of locking pliers. There are the ones that have ONE rivet through the head, and there are the ones that have THREE rivets through the head. My own experience leads me to believe that the more rivets are present, the softer the steel used in the tool. My originals only had one rivet, and the steel is very good. I do have some three rivet tools, and the jaws have come loose before. Just FYI for you, based on what I have seen. ... show more

    • These Grip
These vice grips work amazing. I was curious about how well it would work without a release lever. Apparently, very well. They technically have a release lever it's just cleverly integrated into the handle. I received mine and immediately got working on a stubborn stabilizer link in my rear suspension. They grip super tight, and made it ez to hold a rusted bolt in place while I removed a nut from it. Well done, Craftsman.
