Versatile and Durable
I recently purchased a set of CRAFTSMAN Locking Pliers, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with their performance. These locking pliers are incredibly versatile and have quickly become an essential tool in my toolbox. One of the standout features of these pliers is their durability. The construction feels solid and well-made, and I have no doubt that they will last me for years to come. The locking mechanism is also very reliable, ensuring that the pliers stay clamped onto whatever I'm working on without slipping. I also appreciate the ergonomic design of the handles, which makes them comfortable to use even for extended periods. The grip is secure, giving me the confidence to tackle tough jobs without worrying about the pliers slipping out of my hands. Overall, I highly recommend the CRAFTSMAN Locking Pliers to anyone in need of a reliable and versatile tool. Whether you're a professional tradesperson or a DIY enthusiast, these pliers are sure to meet and exceed your expectations.

Reliable tools
Have used and must say impressed how well made. Many tools (and other things too) are made cheap and expensive. These were well priced and very good quality. Would buy again. In fact, have purchased other Craftsman tools because of this purchase.

Reliable and Strong, Classic Craftsman Quality
This 2-piece Craftsman Locking Pliers set (CMHT81727) delivers the solid performance you’d expect from the brand. The grips feel sturdy and comfortable in hand, and the fast-release mechanism works smoothly — great for quick adjustments when working on multiple tasks. Both pliers lock tightly and hold their grip under pressure without slipping. The build quality feels premium, and they’ve handled several tough jobs without any signs of wear. The only minor drawback is that the release lever can feel a bit stiff at first, though it loosens up with use. Overall, an excellent addition to any toolbox — dependable, durable, and true to Craftsman’s reputation.

Work great!
I'll try to include photos later, but these performed great! I have many of the original Vise Grip plier models, but most of them are in storage due to an issue with moving around. Instead of wasting time and trying to find tools, it is easier for me to just order some more sometimes. In this case, I am glad I did. The release mechanism is awesome. So much easier than the originals, and I do appreciate the fact that these have the hex wrench fittings in the adjustment screw. I have a feeling that I won't need to look for my other tools so much... Just an observation for you: there are two types of locking pliers. There are the ones that have ONE rivet through the head, and there are the ones that have THREE rivets through the head. My own experience leads me to believe that the more rivets are present, the softer the steel used in the tool. My originals only had one rivet, and the steel is very good. I do have some three rivet tools, and the jaws have come loose before. Just FYI for you, based on what I have seen.

Great set of lock pliers!
Great set of lock pliers! I was worried about not seeing the locking part but it works and has saved me time and money this week working on the car.

These Grip
These vice grips work amazing. I was curious about how well it would work without a release lever. Apparently, very well. They technically have a release lever it's just cleverly integrated into the handle. I received mine and immediately got working on a stubborn stabilizer link in my rear suspension. They grip super tight, and made it ez to hold a rusted bolt in place while I removed a nut from it. Well done, Craftsman. Not all your products live up to your once great name, but you made a great one here.
