It works as expected, it will not loosen motor bolts, you can break them loose then use the ratchet to spin them out. For it's size it does very well. It's small and compact. What I was looking for. It works for the small projects I do. You can't go wrong with CRAFTSMAN.

This thing is an amazing for being as cheap as it is. I was surprised when I got it all hooked up and found out how much power it had while being such a nice usable size.

Great product, the price is good for handy tool to have for tight spots, only thing i wish it had was a different handle, one with a safety lever in the middle. Accidentally set it a few times setting it down. Still a great product.

    • Quality air ratchet, has good torque and not too loud
This air ratchet is a lot heavier and nicer than I was expecting. Ever since my old air ratchet broke, I have been using a battery powered or regular manual ratchet for everything. The battery powered one is just too weak for real work and there are times when an air ratchet is just faster and easier than any other tool. The design of this tool is excellent. It's black with a red rubber grip that is supposedly so your hands don't get cold but it also helps you grip the tool with gloves on compared to a bare metal tool. The trigger is probably the cheapest feeling thing on the tool but it works fine, and I managed to get a few speeds out of the tool. It doesn't have a huge range and I noticed I can use an air regulator to dial in the speed exactly where I need it if it is too fast. Normal full speed is 180 RPM which works for me. The tool is muffled a bit but still fairly noisy if you are used to electric tools. Quieter than the old school air ratchets I've used with no muffler. No fitting is included but anyone who uses air tools probably has a lot of them; I know I do. No leaks, no issues at all with this tool. Even the forward/reverse switch is good quality and easy to move. This is one of the nicer Craftsman air tools I've used and it definitely has a higher quality look and feel compared to other air ratchets I've seen released by them in recent years. The packaging says this tool has a 3 year warranty which seems fair for a tool at this price point. I can't see it breaking for a long time under normal use as long as you keep it oiled. ... show more
