  • Love the color
Very nice feel to it and different color from the rest of other red common snips.

  • It does it's job but can be better.
PROS: - The grip is good, I can grip it and cut with it easily. - The cutting jaws are made of thick steel. CONS: - They are not as sharp as I would like them to be. I fully expected to cut thru pennies with ease but it was a bit harder than I thought.

  • CRAFTSMAN quality.
I needed these to cut a hole in the METAL screen door guard for installing a doggie door. These more than sufficed for the job. Very strong, no twisting, and cut through the metal like butter. Great tool. Even the blade has measurement guide on it so you don’t cut more than you intend to. Quality tool as with most Craftsman products. ... show more

  • Well-made, comfortable but not sure how they will last in the long run
The CRAFTSMAN Aviation Snips are made to cut 1.2mm cold-rolled steel or 0.7mm stainless steel. If anything, I was looking for something to cut metal from gates and metal fencing for my gardening (mainly tomato plants). I needed something with a hardened cutting edge which these aviation snips do provide. While I can't guarantee how long these last (not sure if I can sharpen these with a metal sharpener) but for what I needed it for, these do work. Others have said they were dull and they are not sharp to the touch but I was ale to cut through the metal tomato fencing that I have in my back yard. But for my needs they work very well, were comfortable but since I'm not a professional when it comes to these type of snippers, I'll give it 4-stars! ... show more

  • Well built 18ga snips
The media could not be loaded. These are replacing a very old set of snips that can barely cut through chicken wire. The build quality is consistent with other Craftsman tools, solid steel construction with heavy duty plastic molded grips. The snips can easily cut through all of the material that I work with. The blades are pre-coated with oil and have serrated teeth to aid in the snipping. Check out the video for a closer look at these Craftsman Snips. ... show more

  • A very handy strong tool to have!
This pair of aviation snips is heavier and better made than I was initially expecting. They seem to be well-made and very sturdy. While using them to cut wires and such I feel confident in them. They're also very precise which is important. I've trusted the Craftsman brand for a long time and own many different tools of theirs. They continue to not let me down which is always important to me. :) ... show more
