  • Best blades there are.
Size: 7-1/4-in. Style: Carbide
I think these are the best circular saw blades there are. Its nice to have them shipped to my home, being as the hardware store is a 50 mile round trip.

  • Great for hardwoods
Size: 7-1/4-in. Style: Carbide
Craftsman still has decent tools, though, it depends on which ones. These cross-cut blades didn't disappoint running through hard maple 10/4 boards with a heavy duty DeWalt circular saw. Works almost like a chop saw (not exactly) but sufficient enough to get through several jobs - straight & accurate cuts. Gotta love carbide. One of the 3-pack blades had a chipped carbide tooth because it came "packaged" in a flimsy plastic envelope without any protection. So, I called customer support & got an immediate response + a replacement blade. It took over 1.5 months to arrive from a facility that's 30 minutes away. The Craftsman guarantee works but you might have to wait a while to get the wheels moving. ... show more

  • I was disappointed
Size: 7-1/4-in. Style: Carbide
I ordered this 3 pack to put one in my miter saw, one in my circular saw, and have one extra for when they eventually wore out. I love the old school Craftsman name and had high expectations for these. I started by build a planter box out of pressure treated pine fence pickets and used this blade for all the crosscuts. This blade was like a hot knife through butter, it was just so smooth. I did the cutouts for a second planter with the same results. A couple days later my daughter and I were working on a squirrel feeder picnic table (9in by 9in) using the same wood material. Halfway through a 5/8" thick 1.5" wide leg cut (30 degree angle) there was a pop and a spark. I thought I hit something, but there was no damage to the saw or the wood (that I could find). Then I saw a little piece of metal on the table. It was one of the carbide teeth from this blade. I inspected the blade and 2 of the teeth came off, bending 1 of the sprockets (??) that hold the teeth. I ran another cut and bam, another tooth came off. So in total I was able to crosscut pieces from maybe 8 soft pine fence pickets before the teeth started falling apart. I was really disappointed in the brand. These are not the same Craftsman blade our dads and grandads used to buy from Sears. I'm going to finish using the blades I have, but then will be buying a different brand in the future. The little use I got out of this blade is not worth the money. ... show more
