I bought this bed for my son's birthday and it was a hit! It was very easy for us to assemble and very straight forward. This is very sturdy for a toddler bed. Usually toddler beds are flimsy but this bed survived a move and lots of play, also if it loosens up at all it can be tightened again! This bed is a vibrant red and it really stands out in a room. The wood seems to be higher quality and thick and because of this I feel like it will last a very long time. The only confusing part I had with putting the PawPatrol bed together was that the directions seemed to be generic for all the versions of this bed and used the outline of the Cars bed pieces. Took me a couple minutes to realize that while I was sorting through all the pieces to make sure nothing was missing. I just went off of the pictures printed on the actual bed pieces to figure out which of the 4 side rail pieces went where. Since I was already familiar with how all the screws and inserts worked, it took me less than 30 minutes to assemble it. My youngest of our 4 kids turned 2 last week and this was his birthday present. The only negatives we really have are more with the kids than the bed. Our boys have to share a room so we now have a 2 year old and 4 year old that have been liberated from their “baby jail” and are both free to roam their room at night now rather than just one of them. Getting them to stay in bed will be a challenge. There is not enough bedrooms to split them up. The other is that our 2 year old is a fearless monkey and insists on sitting on the side of the bed frame with his feet on the mattress. This usually ends with him flipping backwards off of it when he gets excited and stops paying attention to where he is. His own fault, he’s stubborn and determined to do things his own way. Otherwise, he loves the bed and was extremely excited when he saw it. Completely covered it in toys within minutes and then climbed in to play. ... show more

This is an adorable toddler bed. I bought the one in Paw Patrol for my almost 3-year-old son. He was getting too long for the Graco Pack n Play we used from birth till now and I thought it was the time he had something more comfortable to sleep on. He now sleeps peacefully and comfortably on his new 'big boy bed'. Putting this bed together was not that difficult once I figured out how the screws went in, then everything else was a breeze. I put it together by myself in about 2 hours. Took me an hour to look at the instructions and scratch my head because I could not figure out the screws. But once I had it, everything was a breeze to put together. The wooden pieces are heavy and sturdy, there are lots of screws to hold everything in place and the bed once assembled is not that light. I bought the Graco Memory Foam Crib Mattress for this bed and my son sleeps comfortably, without falling out and no trouble getting in. He has lots of room to grow into this bed too. Overall this is an adorable bed and one that I am happy to have bought for my son. It feels sturdy enough to last I don't have to worry about my son rolling off the bed when he sleeps. One note, the mattress that I bought fits snugly in the bed frame, no gaps but still not so tight that I can't tuck a thin blanket into the sides to tuck my son in at night. This sits on the floor and there are no sharp edges anywhere on the wood. ... show more
