The dishes do not harden after baking. They are easily bendable and can be broken. I am looking for a glaze to put on them and re-bake. My 11 year old and her friend still really enjoyed making them. They are cute, but not sure how long they'll hold up.

The Creative Process: The clay is easy for smaller hands to work with—it’s pliable and doesn’t crumble as soon as you start shaping it. The instructions are straightforward, helping kids understand how to marble the colors or create specific shapes without needing constant adult intervention. What to Expect: Quantity: You truly get enough for three bowls. We didn't feel like we had to "stretch" the materials. Durability: Once air-dried, the bowls are surprisingly sturdy. Listen to the reviews and do not buy! I bought this for my daughter birthday party and the clay was dried out. It’s was hard and just crumbled. The paint was dried out as well. The finished product, out of the oven doesn’t harden like you would think clay would. It’s rubbery. Don’t waste your money!

This may not be the best for children. The colorful clays are easy to knead and safe for kids since they're soft, but the white clay is very hard to knead.
