I purchased this for my CR-10s and I've tried other build plates in the past. My main reasoning for purchasing was to get away from using a glue sticks or hair spray all the time. I've only printed in PETG and PLA, but both stick great without any issues. Just give it a wipe with alcohol or Windex after a few prints. Pros: -Double sided (textured and smooth). Depending on the model, having a smooth bottom is nice -Comes with everything you need (magnetic and PEI spring plate)

The media could not be loaded. I'm printing 350 Christmas trees on my two anet A8's 24/7. To accomplish this I needed a bed that adhered well but released when cooled as I'm using gcode to push the tree off the bed into a waiting box before automatically starting the next tree. I tried several brands but none of them released the tree when the bed cooled (often damaging the printer as it tried to push the tree off the bed). These have worked flawlessly!! Highly recommend!

Bed adhesion is phenomenal! Prints stick while printing but come off super easy by just bending the plate. Cant recommend enough

I bought a similar product before and it was a waste of money. got broken super easy and them the process to remove it was hard. this new one so far so good.

I bought this because I was tired of trying to pry my prints off of the glass plate that my Ender 3 Max Neo came with. The glass was good, but removing prints was too stressful (for me and for the prints). I love this PEI plate. The prints stick well during printing, but a simple bend of the plate and they pop right off. The smooth side has a wonderful silky finish. The bottoms of my prints come out so much nicer looking and feeling now. My plate does have one tiny white spot on the smooth side, but it doesn't hurt anything as far as I have been able to tell.

I bought this bed after using a few other beds. I started with an ender 3 flexy magnetic sheet with the weird sandpaper bottom, it worked well but got damaged easily and warped and cracked after a couple months of heavy printing. so I bought a big heavy glass plate that was perfectly flat that was held on with those stupid clips, and it was definitely nice and even across the build plate and made distinctively shiny surface layers on my prints but it just was a struggle to keep my prints sticking, even after regular washing and alcohol prep, some people šware by glass but I was done with it. Enter flexy steel sheet, everything sticks to this incredibly well and it's smooth surface for the bottom side of prints and has the bonus of being able to lift it up and pop off prints with a quick little flex of the plate, the thin sheet they glue on to the top of the steel is what makes the magic, my first printer was a prusa mk3 and had a steel bed with this same coating on it, i beleive is called pei surface or something, but my prusa didn't have the added benefit of being magnetically remove able. 5/5 stars BE AWARE HOWEVER:: if you have your first layer super smooshed to the bed and the Temps up and you get your print to stick Too hard... You'll be getting your print off along with that coating over the bed along with it, which is what I immediately did, i had all my settings aimed at REALLY squishing my first layer on because my glass bed was stubborn, and wasn't paying attention when I switched to this bed. I ruined my coating--but that material is easy to find so you can re coat the bed easily for cheap. If you doubt your abilities to make a smooth new surface again you'll be ordering another steel plate.. But just be smart and this bed can last you a very long time, years even! My old prusa printer still has the same bed 4 years later , and once I fix my new bed my ender 3 will have a great new bed with no dumb clips required. PS= incase you didn't read half of this, the texture of this steel bed is smooth, not like that sandpaper surface that some beds have, neither are better or worse than the other, just preference. I like a smooth first layer surface myself.

I've had constant issues with my CR-10 since I got it. After getting this build plate, I realized that most of it stemmed from an uneven build surface. This build plate is very flat and I am able to take prints off the bed without prying them up with my scraper. The only issue I have had is bed adhesion. Since the metal is so smooth, it becomes slippery and the first layer will often have issues adhering. This issue is solved with a quick layer of hairspray, but it makes me wonder if a textured build plate might not have been a better decision. However, the result of a smooth build plate has an amazing effect on the final print. I might buy a textured build plate in the future to switch between the two, but this has already been a huge upgrade from the stock build plate! Overall, if you don't mind using some type of adhesion assistance like hairspray and/or insist on a completely flat build plate, I have no hesitation in recommending this product!
