A friend got me an Aerogarden years ago for my birthday to keep the green thumb going all winter long. My complaint about the system is you have to buy certain lots or they only have a limited amount of choices by way of veggie varieties. When I saw the Delemonte 75 Pcs Hydroponic Growing Plant Pods Kits, it seemed like a good way to be able to grow the things I truly want to grow. I like parsley and basil as much as the next person, but I really would like to change things up. This is a very easy way to make that happen. It"s compatible with my Aerogarden system. It gives you choices, and that's important to me. Someone else mentioned that it has a lot of extra plastic that doesn't seem necessary. I hate when I get a lot of extra pieces and gizmos I'll never use. I feel guilty throwing them away, so I end up putting them in a junk drawer that EVENTUALLY gets cleaned out. We are just starting with the real gardening season in Maryland, so my plan is to start seeds for my outdoor early fall garden. It's tough to get broccoli, cabbage, etc. plants at nurseries in the fall. ... show more

I got this as a gift for a friend of mine, who has a small herb garden and thought it would be great because the sponges would make it easier for her to grow her smaller herbs. Like cilantro, basil, etc. she loved the kit. It worked well, and helped with growing a garden bigger than she’d ever seen before I would definitely recommend. ... show more

Wish i had taken a photo... Used these twice, and each time got some sort of green film on the pods, and my seeds either didn't start or almost looks like they rotted. Really wanted to like but afraid i will have to toss the rest and go back to the miracle gro brand or search for another less expensive one. ... show more

I managed to get a used Aerogarden from the thriftstore for $10 (what a steal!), but it didn't come with any accessories. I did get one of their herb sets just to test it out and, now I'm ready to try my own personal choice of seeds. These fit in the slots perfectly, and seem to be soaking up the water. The recess for the seeds is a good depth, enough that they will have water on all sides, but not so deep that it won't get some light as soon as it starts climbing out. I appreciate that this package comes with everything you need to get started, as I am currently cleaning out the parts my first came with. I feel like it probably could have come with fewer lids, since those seem easily reusable, but that's a pretty minor gripe. All in all, very happy. ... show more
