I bought this modeling grass for my model airport and it arrived well. It looks great. Took a little while to set up, but looks really good and is very useful. It has paper on the bottom and is mid in thickness, perfect for what I need. Great value, and if you fight the right tutorials easy to use. The roll of fake grass is backed by paper which makes it easier to trace the tiers in my three tiered tray. I had to make two half circles of grass in order to cover the bottom tier. The roll of grass is 15.7” wide. My tray is approximately 18” wide. If you are thinking about doing the same, please be sure to measure your largest tier. You may have to purchase two rolls of grass. What’s great is if you are into seasonal decorating the grass comes in several seasonal colors (even white for snow). I used pillows of painter’s tape to secure the grass down. I purchased this model grass mat for an autumn Alpine Village that I am creating. The golden yellow color (which is more like a pear green) contrasted nicely with the wood rounds and village trees that I previously selected. I did not remove the adhesive backing, since i am going to have a stone fence border to anchor it. Already without the finished stone border, it lays pretty flat. It was easy for me to cut it to the desired length with an xacto knife and metal ruler. This item more than met my expectations. ... show more

The color is nice. But if you want to be able to use the whole sheet, beware that the sides are all crinkled up from when they roll it and put it into the wrap. I bought two rolls and both are like this.

This was perfect to use as ground material for my Halloween display. The yellow/green color looks like Fallish grass. It does come in a roll, so you may need to either tape it down or let it be flat for a couple days before using.
