These shelves (I bought two) exceeded my expectations in many ways. I've been in desperate need of vinyl storage since I moved. My vinyls had just been in vinyl boxes stacked up in my bedroom. I was going to get a custom built credenza, but after doing some math, the length I had in mind wouldn't fit all of my vinyls. I didn't want to spend all of that money only to be left with figuring out more storage for them. I found these and after reading reviews decided to give them a try, thinking they would be a good solution, just for now. Once I got them assembled I was very impressed with how they look. They're also very sturdy. I'm so glad I saved a ton of money going with these instead of the custom built credenza. My biggest complaint is the description says they hold approximately 350 vinyls. . .that's not even close. Unless they're also referring to the upper shelves. . . Maybe? I have a few double albums, and a couple box ones, but they're not very big boxes, so they don't take up *that* much more space. I fit about 200 on each. I had to take my compilation albums and lay they them flat in one of the upper shelves (which is not a typical or ideal way to store 33s). The 45s I have fit perfectly standing up in the upper shelf. For reference I have 446 vinyls. I assembled both right after the other, but even part way through the first my hand was hurting. So I would say while you can use a screwdriver, a drill would be much more convenient and easier. Overall, I'm very happy and glad these saved me a lot of money, though there's barely any room to keep expanding my collection.

The old record cabinet I had finally collapsed, and I needed another one to store my records, and also for the turntable/speakers to fit on top. The Cozy Castle storage cabinet was just what I needed, and the assembly wasn't too bad. I would recommend this unit to others with similar needs.

Assembly is pretty straightforward but with many steps and ideally would be done with two people. I don't understand the positive reviews though, because the quality of the material is very poor. The slightest movement caused it to split during assembly. It happened once and I figured I would deal with it but it continued to happen through the assembly process because the material is so flimsy. I purchased this to hold my daughter's 25lb record player and quite frankly, I wouldn't trust it to hold it. Very poor product all around and not recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Exactly like I expected, with extra pieces, may end up buying another and having them side by side. So far I have around 140 vinyls with more on the way. The top shelves could serve as more space or as accents to your space ! Definitely recommend!
