My mom recently started infusion chemotherapy for cancer and she can be in the treatment chair from 4-7 hours and she got really cold. A friend told me to get her a battery powered blanket and most had terrible reviews. Then I found this blanket and it’s WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! It is so soft and keeps her so toasty while she gets infusions. We place warm blankets from the hospital on top of the Cozee blanket, and it help keep the heat in, even when the warm hospital blanket cools. This blanket is exceptionally made. There is no skimping on quality. And I love the back story about this blanket. I can’t say enough about this product. If you or a loved one is freezing during those long chemotherapy sessions this blanket will keep them warm and comfortable for hours on just 1 charge. It’s the least I can do for mom when she’s going through cancer treatment. #kickcancersass

This blanket is amazing! As you can tell from the other reviews, this whole blanket does not heat up evenly. Rather, it heats up but uses your own body heat to keep you warm. You need to wrap the blanket around you to keep the heat in. At work, I sometimes take breaks in my car. It’s nice to have this blanket to keep me very toasty, despite temperatures cold enough to see my breath. Why I’m so glad I have this blanket is for car emergencies. I have an infant and a small dog. Should something happen, it’s good to know I have a way to keep them warm until help arrives. A few years ago, my car was totaled when another driver fell asleep at the wheel. It was November with snow on the ground, and it took time for emergency help to show up, take everything out of my car while before being towed, etc. Luckily, it was just me. But I’m so glad I have the peace mind that should something happen on the road, I have a way to keep my little precious ones warm. It would also be great for a power loss in the house during winter, since the battery can be charged in the car. The battery conveniently has two USB ports to charge. In my car, I also keep a large Duracell battery that comes with jump cables (cost about $99 at target a few years ago). I can jump my own car if needed; it also has a USB port and built in flashlight. There’s nothing quite like having the tools you need in an emergency and I’m glad to add this blanket to my car kit now that the chilly fall is here. Nothing is more important than keeping my little ones safe!

The blanket itself is heavy and with the battery it is twice as heavy. Even following directions closely, I found that the huge battery does not last long and does not heat up well. I was very disappointed in this product. If you plan on getting this as a Christmas present for someone, please realize that this is a very over priced item and not worth it. There are cheaper and warmer blankets out there.

charges all night and lasts 15 min. spent all this money to keep my dog warm in the car for a few hours but even after an hour i'd come back to a very cold dog....

I really wanted this to work for my wife during her dialysis. Unfortunately it didn’t work for her, but the quality of this product is obvious as soon as you unbox it. It’s made with quality materials, and would serve as a comfy throw even when not heated. Our problem was the run time, but that’s only because we needed high heat for more than 3 hours because of a unique medical condition. That and the battery placement caused an issue for her, but not one that would affect most people. For most users who just need a little more warmth than a non-heated throw would offer, this is a perfect solution. I can see many uses for this product. I can’t say enough about the supplier either. They were very customer focused and accommodating when we had an issue that was beyond their control. Their story is amazing as well.

I bought Cozee #1, watched the instructional video and folded the blanket for the 5 minute surge period like instructed. A few minutes later when I started to use it, it felt like there were parts of the blanket that didn’t feel as warm as others. I immediately thought the blanket must have been broken so I ordered a replacement, Cozee #2. When the replacement came, I had a friend over to tell me if she thought the blanket was evenly warm to her touch and she didn’t think it was. So I sent it back thinking it was also broken. Then! I learned how to actually use the blanket correctly! I received Cozee #3, just like before watched the video again, and right after the 5 minute surge period, I wrapped myself in it like a cocoon. The thing kept me warm and snuggly for the next 4 hours. Here are my takeaways: - This blanket is designed to work with your body heat. The initial heat from the 5 minute surge kickstarts warmth, then drops down to conserve battery while your own body heat plus the blanket’s starter heat get trapped in the blanket – very important to use it like a COCOON! - You might feel like parts of the blanket are cooler to the touch and that is normal – this blanket is not designed to work like a plug-into-the-outlet electric blanket on your bed that keeps heat continually flowing at a high temperature. It surges heat, then works with your body heat, and keeps heat flowing from the battery at a low level. - You can turn the blanket on and off to surge it again and again at the high temperature if you feel like you really need a heat boost. - I almost think this product should be called a “cocoon” instead of a “blanket” because it is designed to be used like a wrap and not a blanket you throw over yourself. Great quality and great product once I truly understood what was happening with the battery and that this is a unique kind of heating device. Stay cocooned!
