I've had my Cozee for a month and have used it more than I even thought I would. I purchased it for myself because I spend 6-8 hours a day, twice a week, sitting in my car in a parking lot while my husband receives medical care. With winter approaching, I wanted an extra dose of warmth. When my Cozee arrived, I was very impressed by the quality of the product; the blanket is plush, the accessories are well designed and easy to figure out, and since I will be on the go with this blanket, the carrying case is very handy for me. Another reviewer suggested having a second battery pack that can be charging while the first battery pack is in place, I thought this a brilliant idea, and opted for 2 battery packs. I'm glad that I did. Essentially it takes 6 hours to fully charge the Cozee battery, and on a 'low' setting, the battery is 'done' after about 6 hours. In my car, in 25 degree temps, the Cozee keeps me comfortable the entire time. Over the New Year' holiday, I unexpected had to use my Cozee 48 hours straight due to a power outage in our area. No problem, while one battery was charging in my car, the other battery was in use to keep me warm IN MY HOUSE! I was so glad that I had purchased the Cozee and had 2 battery packs. As for the price -- yes, I debated purchasing it for 2 days before I finally plunged in....but since hotel rooms near this hospital start at $200 a night...I figure I recover the costs in 2 days! (...and I have had NO doubts about the price or purchase since that power outage!) Since the power outage, I find this to be an essential tool to keep in my vehicle EVERY winter. Finally, the customer support is outstanding. I spoke to Paul, who gave me valuable tips on the best way to use the Cozee for my specific purpose, plus I feel that if I had an issue, he would try to make it right.

I bought Cozee #1, watched the instructional video and folded the blanket for the 5 minute surge period like instructed. A few minutes later when I started to use it, it felt like there were parts of the blanket that didn’t feel as warm as others. I immediately thought the blanket must have been broken so I ordered a replacement, Cozee #2. When the replacement came, I had a friend over to tell me if she thought the blanket was evenly warm to her touch and she didn’t think it was. So I sent it back thinking it was also broken. Then! I learned how to actually use the blanket correctly! I received Cozee #3, just like before watched the video again, and right after the 5 minute surge period, I wrapped myself in it like a cocoon. The thing kept me warm and snuggly for the next 4 hours. Here are my takeaways: - This blanket is designed to work with your body heat. The initial heat from the 5 minute surge kickstarts warmth, then drops down to conserve battery while your own body heat plus the blanket’s starter heat get trapped in the blanket – very important to use it like a COCOON! - You might feel like parts of the blanket are cooler to the touch and that is normal – this blanket is not designed to work like a plug-into-the-outlet electric blanket on your bed that keeps heat continually flowing at a high temperature. It surges heat, then works with your body heat, and keeps heat flowing from the battery at a low level. - You can turn the blanket on and off to surge it again and again at the high temperature if you feel like you really need a heat boost. - I almost think this product should be called a “cocoon” instead of a “blanket” because it is designed to be used like a wrap and not a blanket you throw over yourself. Great quality and great product once I truly understood what was happening with the battery and that this is a unique kind of heating device. Stay cocooned!

This blanket is amazing! As you can tell from the other reviews, this whole blanket does not heat up evenly. Rather, it heats up but uses your own body heat to keep you warm. You need to wrap the blanket around you to keep the heat in. At work, I sometimes take breaks in my car. It’s nice to have this blanket to keep me very toasty, despite temperatures cold enough to see my breath. Why I’m so glad I have this blanket is for car emergencies. I have an infant and a small dog. Should something happen, it’s good to know I have a way to keep them warm until help arrives. A few years ago, my car was totaled when another driver fell asleep at the wheel. It was November with snow on the ground, and it took time for emergency help to show up, take everything out of my car while before being towed, etc. Luckily, it was just me. But I’m so glad I have the peace mind that should something happen on the road, I have a way to keep my little precious ones warm. It would also be great for a power loss in the house during winter, since the battery can be charged in the car. The battery conveniently has two USB ports to charge. In my car, I also keep a large Duracell battery that comes with jump cables (cost about $99 at target a few years ago). I can jump my own car if needed; it also has a USB port and built in flashlight. There’s nothing quite like having the tools you need in an emergency and I’m glad to add this blanket to my car kit now that the chilly fall is here. Nothing is more important than keeping my little ones safe!

I needed this blanket for an NFL game that had a 19 degree high for the day. I charged the blanket according to the directions. Not only does the battery not last anywhere close to what it says but when I tested the heat out ahead of taking it anywhere I noticed it barely got warm and only in certain sections. The warmth it did give was so little I literally thought am I feeling any warmth or just wishful thinking. I would not recommend this. It is a decent size and softness but let’s be honest your paying for the heat and it to last more than an hour. It says it last 5-6 hours. Sorry but no it does not. Maybe I got a defective one but I was seriously disappointed
