Description

This Coxreels 1125 Series hose reel is designed for air, water, oil, or pressure washer applications and is manual rewind by hand crank action. The reel can be mounted to a floor, wall, ceiling, bench, or truck. It has a steel A-frame construction for strength and durability and 2-point axle support for stability during operation. Professional grade, heavy duty steel construction coated with a durable proprietary CPC Powder Coat Process. Rolled edges and ribbed discs for strength and safety. It has a brake assembly for braking or for locking the drum to a desired length of hose. It has a working pressure of 3,000 pounds per square inch (psi) and a maximum temperature rating of 275 degrees F. This hose reel is suitable for use in lawn care, grounds maintenance, pressure washing, steam cleaning, washdown, and fire protection applications. Leading 2-Year Manufacturer's Limited Warranty. I bought this 1125-5-175 to hold my 100 ft of 5/8" hose. This is a good-year hose and it is very heavy so I wanted a hose reel that could hold all this weight. I did bolt it to my fence with 3/8" X 3" long bolts with lock nuts just to make sure it will stay there. This reel came in a H-D cardboard box. The reel was bolted to a piece of wood. There was NO damage to the box or the reel. The whole reel was painted, there are no rust spots on the reel. I cannot speak for other peoples reviews when they say they were not happy with their reel. I am thinking of getting another one for my back yard. I took one picture with me in it so that you can see just how big it is. I love it. I really believe this will be my last hose reel. Just WOWWWWWW. If you are looking for a top quality hose reel, buy one from COXREEL. You will be very happy that with it. ... show more

I use this on my wildland firefighting trailer. Great value, well manufactured, and handles slightly more that 100 feet of 3/4" id hose. No leaking on the swivel when pushing 100 psi. This reel should last many years. It doesn't have a tension brake but I have found that there is enough rolling resistance on the bearings that the hose doesn't over-unroll hose when pulling hose off at a good walking pace. Rewinding 100 feet of hose only takes a minute. ... show more

After a series of expensive failures over the years with conventional garden hose reels that leaked, rusted out, and rotted their tires, we decided to splurge on a commercial-grade reel that we could hopefully get more from. It was disappointing to spend this much money and when it got here, learn we would also need another $30 worth of adapters (2) to take this from standard pipe fittings to garden hose fittings. After all that, we see leaks at the drum even when properly outfitted with a good washer and properly tightened. Yes, we plan to keep it, because the rest of it is built well. Shipping prep is outstanding: The unit comes in a double-wall cardboard box, and the base is bolted to a piece of particle board. I plan to try using different adapters to address the leak. Instead of a swivel connection at the outer edge, I plan 3/4NPT male - 3/4GHT male, with a braided, washing machine supply hose with swivels on both ends to go between the outdoor spigot and the input to the reel. The 2nd fitting, inside the spool, is still an unsolved challenge. The adapter is already a male-male, and the leak is at the NPT end. Teflon tape did not work, nor did non-hardening Permatex gasket/thread seal. ... show more

Decently built reel, poor item description. There's no effective dimensions in the descriptions so I assumed the images were correct. Well, when my 3/4-250ft reel showed up, it's about the diameter I expected, but its twice as wide as the proportion of the pictures, literally its like 2 reels together end to end (but it's a single piece drum with 2 end plates). Hopefully it'll fit where I plan to attach it on a 500gal water trailer. ... show more

I've got a 1125-4-200 and a 1125-5-100 mounted on a plastic pallet in the bed of my F150 to do house washes. I have 200 ft of 3/8 high pressure hose and 100 ft of 3/4 garden hose mounted on these reels. These reels have made my side hustle so much easier!
