Blends easily. I have light olive skin and the translucent medium is a very good match. You can “build” the coverage if need be. It is as good as more expensive “fancy” brands. It comes with a puff that is fine to use, but additionally, can be used with a powder brush.

    • When I wear Covergirl, it feels good on my skin, it is light and not heavy on the skin.

I don't wear a lot of makeup which is why I like Covergirl, it takes away the shine and gives a nice clean look to the skin. Others that I have tried give the appearance of a heavy artificial made-up look.

This powder looks very powdery on the face. It sits on top and makes your skin look dry and chalky, unlike other Covergirl powders which are lighter, more sheer, and have just a touch of moisture so they can blend with the skin. This powder looks great, I love this style of compact much better than the newer styles so I ordered one in Honey thinking it would be a color between Light and Medium (I checked out multiple websites to get a better idea of the color because I can't find this in stores). I'm really not a true "Light" or a "Medium" so it looked like Honey would be my color. I was shocked at how dark it really is- not even with a tan in the summer would Honey work for me. YIKES! So I just ordered light and will use it sparingly to make sure I don't look like a ghostface. I always buy the Translucent Medium of this brand in the store. I double checked the color I needed with one I had at home before ordering so I wouldn't mistakenly order the wrong one. The product I received was in the correct packaging but the labelling of the product must be off. It's a lot lighter, noticeably. When I opened the package and then when i put it on. I'll keep it for make up "emergencies" if I run out on my usual color, but this product was incorrect for me at least I just went to cvs and bought another one tonight, same labelling but the color is the slightly darker, correct color that I'm used to. Older women, please do use a very light moisturizer underneath any powder you apply facially to have a flawless look whenever a powder is applied to your skin! You want a fresh, dewy glow to give a youthful appearance.
