This is a popular product for a reason and I won't be telling you anything new if you already saw someone review this. I am usually very worried about purchasing makeup on Amazon but my local drug stores don't seem to carry this line and I was really curious to try it so I took a chance. The product arrived fully sealed and is in good condition so I was very pleased by this. I managed to choose a good color match just based on the photos in the listing. I was looking for a more full coverage foundation for my aging skin. I have dry skin with oily t-zone so I have large pores in that area and a lot of foundations settle into pores and dry spots. This looks really nice on my skin even when I do have a few dry spots, and it works well with primer. I am very pleased to have an option when I do want full coverage foundation for an event or special occasion. I would probably exfoliate and super hydrate as part of the preparation to get the best look, of course. I am surprised by the longevity of this product, it has a satin-like finish rather than a full matte. I prefer a satin finish to either a matte finish or a glowy finish, so I was very happy. I am really fair and they have a lot of fair toned color options which you don't see a lot these days especially in a drugstore line. This color is almost a perfect match for my fair skin. I tried to buy a color that was darker in the past and realized that classic ivory is not my color. Pretty good consistency, nothing too thick or runny. I did notice some redness coming through very pale, almost pink, and had to apply more to cover that. So I assume this is not really one application coverage. I like any bottle where they don't absolutely nail the top down so you can't get to all the product so I do appreciate the pump on this where you are able to remove the top if you have to. I didn't detect any heavy fragrance and experienced no irritation even around the eyes. Sat in place all day excluding the part of my face I rubbed with paper towel because I had chocolate on it. Not oily and still not shining even at bedtime. I like this but I think I wanted a heavier coverage. I feel if you are applying the foundation and some ruddiness can still be seen, the coverage is not enough. ... show more

I don’t normally write reviews, but this foundation is so damn good, I had to write one. I have been on the hunt for a good foundation for 3 years. I have very texted normal to oily skin and nothing I have tried sits well on my skin. I have tried tinted moisturizers, tinted serum, and foundations from light to full coverage. I have bought everything from Armani to Haus Labs to Estée Lauder to Guerlain to Pat McGrath foundations that are very highly rated, and this Cover Girl foundation is so much better. It sits beautifully on my skin, stays matte, and does not settle into fine lines. It is stunning with my Givenchy Voile Rose Loose Powder and Natasha Denona Hy Glam concealer.
