Looked as good at night as it did during the day. Fair Ivory was much more pale than I expected but I was scared to go to the next one called Golden Ivory because I am very fair. I didn't find this bone dry nor did I find it oily. The consistency is a little runny. Didn't notice a smell. Covers well and shows up matte. The store sells for about $15 so Amazon is a buy if you are interested in this foundation. I have pretty oily skin which seemed to start with perimenopause for some reason so I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with already dry skin to start - I feel it might dry you out even more. ... show more

Great every day foundation. It is lightweight so I can't feel it which is perfect for being comfortable wearing it at work or going out to do errands. I got 810 and I am fair - for reference I wear Loreal Trumatch n1 and n2 and Revlon Buff 150. Classic Ivory 810 is on the neutral side - it has a hint of yellow but it's a wearable yellow - more of a beige yellow than a mustard yellow that I feel can flatter many skin tones. As a pale person I am so picky about undertones and find so many drugstore foundations to be too peachy or pink etc which is why I am so happy that this undertone is neutral enough for me. The formula is on the thin side. I'm used to L'oreal which is very runny but I did find this quite thin and more watery in comparison. However even though it's thin I find it spreads easily and dries easily (which I like) as I find it makes for an easy application. Even though it's thin it is buildable so it can be built up to a more satin "makeupy" coverage. I am impressed. ... show more

The YouTube hype surrounding this foundation is all true! I tried this for the first time today and immediately began getting compliments on how great I looked, and it's just as flawless thirteen hours after application as it was when I walked out the door this morning! The photo attached to this review is at 8:36PM EST. 13 hours after application; no filters, no fine-tuning the photo. First, I'm 43 and getting those annoying fine lines. My skin is also getting a bit thinner under my eyes, so those are my test points for every foundation I try. I was shocked to find that this product did not settle or crease in those areas as most do. Instead, it "flexed" with my face when I smiled, laughed, etc. No settling around my nose, no pilled look on my chin, and it did not accentuate my pores! I wear a full face of make up daily and my pet peeve is feeling the weight of foundation on my face. With most full coverage formulas, I feel like everyone can see how heavy it is and it's just super nasty and uncomfortable. This one was surprisingly light despite being a full coverage product and, at times, I forgot I was even wearing it! Out of the bottle, it's a bit thick, creamy and looks so rich, that I wasn't expecting it to be so light on my face. Coverage is outstanding and a little goes a long, long way. I used maybe a half pump for my entire face and down my neck. Prep your skin well, prime, apply this with a wet beauty blender and you'll get a gorgeous finish. Seal with a light dusting of powder and some setting spray, and, girl... you are literally untouchable all day long. I didn't have to touch up at all. Not once! As a side note: when choosing your shade, just know that it does dry down the slightest bit darker than when applied. I wouldn't even consider it half a shade and, for my skin, it wasn't an issue. It still looked perfect. I cannot say enough about this stuff- I know my husband thinks I'm nuttier than a fruitcake going on about a make up product like this, but y'all know the struggle (and wasted money) to find the perfect foundation formula. If you're on the fence about this product, I say get it, ladies. I promise, this is one YouTube-backed product you will not be disappointed in. ... show more
