Looked as good at night as it did during the day. Fair Ivory was much more pale than I expected but I was scared to go to the next one called Golden Ivory because I am very fair. I didn't find this bone dry nor did I find it oily. The consistency is a little runny. Didn't notice a smell. Covers well and shows up matte. The store sells for about $15 so Amazon is a buy if you are interested in this foundation. I have pretty oily skin which seemed to start with perimenopause for some reason so I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with already dry skin to start - I feel it might dry you out even more. ... show more

Great every day foundation. It is lightweight so I can't feel it which is perfect for being comfortable wearing it at work or going out to do errands. I got 810 and I am fair - for reference I wear Loreal Trumatch n1 and n2 and Revlon Buff 150. Classic Ivory 810 is on the neutral side - it has a hint of yellow but it's a wearable yellow - more of a beige yellow than a mustard yellow that I feel can flatter many skin tones. As a pale person I am so picky about undertones and find so many drugstore foundations to be too peachy or pink etc which is why I am so happy that this undertone is neutral enough for me. The formula is on the thin side. I'm used to L'oreal which is very runny but I did find this quite thin and more watery in comparison. However even though it's thin I find it spreads easily and dries easily (which I like) as I find it makes for an easy application. Even though it's thin it is buildable so it can be built up to a more satin "makeupy" coverage. I am impressed. ... show more

good for daily wear. I have dry skin, so I can't speak to longevity on oily skin, but it holds up very well for me, even through sweating and 15 hour competition days.
