I’ve been using this mascara forever. Yes it’s an old formula, and I know there are newer and better mascaras on the market but if you need a purse mascara this one is awesome.

I recently tried the Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara in Very Black, and my experience was somewhat mixed. While there were some positives, I also noticed a few drawbacks. On the positive side, the mascara did a decent job adding volume and length to my lashes. The Black shade provided an excellent, bold color that made my lashes stand out. The brush applicator was easy to use and helped to separate and define my lashes without clumping. I also appreciated that the formula didn't smudge or flake throughout the day, which is always a plus. However, I did notice that the mascara provided less dramatic volume or length than some other mascaras I've tried. While it slightly enhanced my lashes, it didn't quite meet my expectations for a 'wow' factor. Overall, the Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara in Very Black is a decent option for everyday wear. It provides a subtle enhancement to lashes without smudging or flaking. However, if you're looking for more dramatic results, you may want to explore other mascara options.

The mascara itself is very soft and not clumpy. The applicator is easy to use and it separates my lashes really well. The applicator also distributes the product evenly. The full fanning effect worked best for me when my lashes were lightly curled. Haven’t tried to layer this mascara with others, but off of how it layers on itself, I think it would work great with others on top of it. The mascara also is very sensitive to water, some mascaras that are not waterproof are pretty good when they get wet, but not this one. I touched my eye after washing my hand (with fully dried mascara) and the mascara came right off.

This mascara is so amazing omg. I curled my lashes and put aquaphor on them beforehand btw. I also used a spoolie after applying the mascara just to make sure my lashes were separated. But there were no clumps at all and it looks amazing. I love it!

Beats out Lancôme, Clinique, Revlon, L’Oréal, and other mascaras I’ve tried over the decades. The waterproof really is waterproof. Adds an amazing level of volume to my lashes without clumping. Since the 1990’s, I keep coming back to this after trying others.
