I recently tried the Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara in Very Black, and my experience was somewhat mixed. While there were some positives, I also noticed a few drawbacks. On the positive side, the mascara did a decent job adding volume and length to my lashes. The Black shade provided an excellent, bold color that made my lashes stand out. The brush applicator was easy to use and helped to separate and define my lashes without clumping. I also appreciated that the formula didn't smudge or flake throughout the day, which is always a plus. However, I did notice that the mascara provided less dramatic volume or length than some other mascaras I've tried. While it slightly enhanced my lashes, it didn't quite meet my expectations for a 'wow' factor. Overall, the Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara in Very Black is a decent option for everyday wear. I'm almost 40 and I have used the Green & Pink Maybelline Great lash mascara since I was 15yrs old. About 6 months ago I switched to the Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion mascara after a friend of mine raved about it. I am SOLD! I use it 5-7 days per week and it's FANTASTIC! It never runs and significantly less sticky/thick than typical mascaras. I can apply this and it looks…good, not great but just ok then 20 minutes later my lashes have fallen, look like they have never seen mascara in their life, and somehow… thinner? I have pretty full natural lashes, but this makes them awful and look like I have nothing. It’s the worst mascara I’ve ever used. I love another from this brand and used that one for years, thought I’d try something new. It was a mistake. The literal only perk to this is that it comes off easy…and by easy I mean if you swipe a smidge too hard with you hand you will have some on your hand mid day. It’s terrible.
