This is a perfect combination of colors for a “complete” blush look. The deep rose is a softer color to outline the cheeks and the milder peach fills in. The sequin lightest shade is perfect for forehead, chin and rounding the face giving an overall glowing look. I just rec’d the 230 Refined Rose which is a 2nd pick to Purely Plum due to I can’t find Purely Plum anywhere. I’m sad to find out the instant cheekbones lineup has been discontinued. I purchased Refined Rose and it’s Ok. The pictures online don’t come close to the actual color. I would call the highlighter shade a bubble gum pink and I don’t really see it at all on my face. The middle shade is Ok and my new go to. The 3rd darkest shade looks good but I really miss the 220 Purely Plum. Unfortunately CG can only give my similar colors from their Cheekers lineup to use in place of Purely Plum shades. They are no where near exact to what I had. I’ve purchased Natural Twinkle, Plum Plush and True Plum. They are way off. I’ve already got over $36 in CG blush that I’m not too happy with. Bring back the Instant Cheekbones CG!!!! I’m not the only one missing this color or this style blush. Everyone’s begging for it to come back please bring it back in all the colors. ... show more

    • Needs help, not sure I'd call it "peach"
I love the idea of having one kit for cheekbone contouring rather than having to purchase a bronzer/dark blush, medium blush, and highlighter so I figured I'd try this out. I have very fair, neutral tone skin with a fairly round face so creating cheekbones is a must for me because you can't make them out without help. As others have said, the included brush kinda sucks so I used my own. My normal blush brush was too big for the two smaller sections so I had to be really careful using it so as not to get powder everywhere. I think I may try to find a smaller angled brush for the darkest and lightest shades. Anyway, I started with the darkest for the hollows of the cheekbones. Much darker and redder than I expected, but I pressed on with the hope that they'd blend well. Next, I did the medium shade on the apples of my cheeks. Finally, the top light shade. I used a blending brush to try to make it look more natural instead of looking like I had three not-peach stripes across each side of my face. Still too dark and too red. Really, I'd call this more dark pink than peach. I ended up using my blending brush to brush on some of a lighter, more cream-colored highlighter I have to tone everything down a bit (ELF highlighter in Moonlight Pearl). It seemed to do the trick and I am happy with the result but the whole point of this kit/pallette whatever is that it's supposed to be all you need to create the cheekbones I don't have so that's why it doesn't get 5 stars from me. ... show more
