I hardly ever wear mascara anymore, but when I do, it seems all brands I have tried go on thick and clumpy and are just messy. Big brushes that hold way too much. I had given up hope on a good correct brush and formulation. The second I pulled the nice thin nylon brush out and saw it NOT clotted with gunk (that I usually try to scrape off, not successfully) I was hopeful. It applied very easily and not too heavy, with ZERO clumping or mess. You take a little longer to go over them again, and the lower lashes, but not a single clump or mess was encountered! I usually like to buy top end mascara because no drugstore brand can hold a candle to it. But because Covergirl is cruelty free and leaping bunny certified I decided to give it a shot. Too Faced has the best mascara of all time but this is a good drugstore brand mascara for daily wear. I really like the wand and quality of the tube. I was skeptical of this mascaras claim to be clump free. Any mascara I’ve ever used would get clumped up after applying more than 2-3 strokes. This one did not. It gave me the volume I’ve always wanted without looking like I have mascara on. I like a more natural look since I don’t wear make up. Let me preface this by saying, every mascara I have tried has some fault. This one is fabulous in many ways - I'm a redhead, so I love that they offer a true brown instead of only brown/black. the brown looks much more natural on someone as fair skinned as me. I also love the wand - it's a little stiff, so you have to be careful with it near your eye, BUT it does an AMAZING job of making sure there are no clumps whatsoever. Again, giving me a more natural look. Love that!!! Truly, the best at doing this of any mascara I've tried and I've tried A LOT. The only downside to this one is that after a few hours, it does start to flake and those flakes can get in my eyes and make them itchy. So, I took one star away becuase I do not consider this a "long term wear" type of mascara. But the upside to this is, it's easy to remove when you're ready. ... show more
