You’re prob gonna wanna put like a pea-sized amount of this on, instinctually. Don’t do that if you’re using your fingers! You literally need the SMALLEST amount, a dot of it, at most. An actual little dot. For both cheeks! If you’re using a brush or a sponge, I’d assume you’ll need a bit more but that’s because your brush and sponge will soak up some. I just put the tiniest bit on the back of my hand and use a finger to dab into it and apply to my cheeks, and even then, I usually have a bit too much.

I love this blush. It goes a long way. Heavily pigmented but blends easily. Use sparingly and blend well. It will look a little intense at first but calms down after a few minutes. Dewy finish even on my 78 year old skin. Try it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I do like this. I read the other reviews and was so afraid this was going to be dark. Now I used a damp makeup sponge to put it on. No it's quite sheer, a lovely natural 'blush'. Especially on 40 + skin. Not sure how it would look if you used your fingers, but with a sponge it's perfect. I only wish it was not as shimmery...it's a tad shimmery. I wanted to use it on my lips too, and because of this I don't. I would try another shade....maybe a darker one. And maybe see if they had one that was more matte. Otherwise I like it. I use it everyday.

Oh my heck, I was not expecting this to look like anything but a hot mess when I saw this on my hand. I had squeezed a little out on the back of my hand & was instantly like "Holy hell, that's pigment." Started to blend it out and it got a little more sheer, but still.....way too much color for me to be comfortable wearing it on my face. It also had some kind of shimmer/sheen/sparkle that I was sure I wasn't going to like." Okay, so I had this "mess" on my hand. May as well apply it. Hmmmm. How do I..... wasn't quite sure how to do that exactly? No instructions on the tube. Okay, we're just gonna wing it then. Tapped some on my cheek bone. Oh, yikes. Yep that's a lot of color. Tried to sheer it out with my fingertips. Okay, somewhat better but not what I wanted in a blush. Grabbed my damp sponge. Pounce, pounce, pounce. Oh. OHHHHHHH!! Yes. Yes, that's gorgeous. Oh my God, this stuff sheers out beautifully. And that sheen I wasn't sure about? I'm sure that I love it now. Healthy radiance. Not beaming highlight. Not sparkly luminescence. It's more like that flushed glow you get when you've been laughing hard. And that's really what it is.....a very natural flush of color that makes you look healthy & fresh. You can also build this up a bit and it doesn't look cakey. Just maintains that same flush of color. And a little goes a long way, I'm looking forward to wearing this as it gets warmer. It's gonna be great for summer over tanned skin, I'm thinking. And at this price, I'm picking up a few more in some of the other colors. And I'm going to need some backups of this color, cause it never fails that when I find something I like it will inevitably be discontinued. *Sigh* Definitely recommend for any skin type, any age.. I'm 49. My daughter who is 17 is also a fan & has borrowed twice in the last week. It doesn't emphasize texture in that strange way that cream products sometimes can. Yep, it's going in my favorites category.
