I like how this foundation goes on smooth and isn't really noticeable or cakey it's hard to find this super white girl shade. I used to be able to get this at Walmart, but now it's unavailable I will continue to purchase from Amazon

I often look for great skin products as I am all about skin care. I have very delicate skin and am aging and I work to keep it looking good. Cover Girl makes a fantastic liquid foundation. The idea of foundations is not to look like you are wearing one. And so I often use this product instead of very expensive brands. It's avoidable, works well. The secret to applying it is to put a little on your hands, rub in, and then apply to your face like a skin cream. Wipe off any excess. Add blush immediately and blend in. Bingo. I’ve tried other foundations over the years but seem to always come back to this one. I have fair skin and use the L1 ivory color. My skin is also sensitive and I honestly find this somewhat soothing. No fragrance, not too thin (I do like some coverage for my uneven skin and some minor scarring) but not too thick. It actually glides on very smoothly with my make-up sponge. It easily smooths into the hair line and blends well over the chin-to-neck area. No obvious borders from skin color to make up, so I know it’s a good match for me. I like the pump feature for ease of putting on my sponge (I never apply foundation with my fingers), but I do hate leaving product in the bottle when it gets low. I typically save a “low” bottle and then when my next bottle gets low, I stand one on top of the other to hopefully drip down into the bottom bottle. There is still some waste, but at least I’m getting the use of more product. I think there are even small make-up “spatulas” out there, so perhaps I will try that. I hate spending money on high-end make-up, and I find this is a quality brand and good value. I highly recommend. ... show more
