Definitely a great replacement for the front crossmember braces. Way thicker and more sturdy than the factory ones. The only downside is you will need to drill/sand the paint out of the bolt holes to make the tolerances correct but it’s a quick and easy job. If you want new bolts they are 10m x1.5 x 10mm and you can get them for $1.80/bolt at mernards. Dealers would charge upwards of $7/bolt ... show more

I would have giving 5 stars, but I had to drill the hole out 1/16 of and inch for the bolts to go thru on my 2004 Silverado

They are a lot thicker and stronger than the originals, not to mention less rusty. Easily installed. Just had to file down the holes a bit so the for the bolt but no complaints. I imagine the product will long outlast the truck they’re installed on.

This is a perfect fit for my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. It is very heavy duty and painted real nice with what seems like thick sturdy paint. Others have said they widened the hole a bit. Since the original bolt is 10mm and the hole is 10mm I just started threading the bolt through and though it was a smidge tight, it went through without smashing or stripping threads.
