So i tried doing the burn test. I really like this fabric regardless of if it is truly 100% real cotton or just polyester, but i think it's real. It's pretty self extinguishing. I'm using it as the underlay on my lamp that I'm sewing and I think it's great.

This aida is a lot better quality cloth than the one I was using. Folded in quarters, nice and evenly. It's nice & firm as if it were stacked. My cross stitch turned out really nicely. Will buy again!
