Makes a LOT of ice quickly. Love it! But… we have water running down the side occasionally. It worried some of the kitchen team, so they turned the machine off. We have it back on, but it just gets a little drippy from time to time.

I was looking for a new ice maker for a long time as my current one at my restaurant broke down. We have been buying bags of ice but that has been such a pain every day. I came across this unit and decided that it was worth the investment and bought it. I was most concerned with setting a schedule so the ice wasn't constantly being made. However, the instructions provided were easy to follow and I set a 12-hour cycle. The scoop it comes with is nice and sturdy. I did struggle to break apart the ice at first bc the ice was initially too thick. However, there was a dedicated section to adjusting the ice thickness. After a few button presses, I noticed the ice was much easier to break apart after the new batch was made. Overall the ice-making process so far is very consistent and plentiful. No hiccups so far and I’d say this was well worth the investment. ... show more

Ordered Coltin Ice maker for our church fellowship hall , and I never had any experience dealing with a install of a ice maker, But found it to be as simple as taking it out of the shipping crate, sitting the ice maker on top of the chest, hooking up water supply and a drain plugging in elect cord to a plug end ................ we had a chest of ice the next day! yes I would recommend any body to Buy a COLTIN ICE MAKER IF YOU NEED A TROUBLE FREE ICE MAKER ... show more

    • Didn’t make it one year.
Bought ice maker in November of 2022. Worked great For 8 months. While it did work the only issue was it had a lot of condensation and constantly dripped water. But now it’s not making ice. Have a service guy looking into it but he’s telling me it’s hard to find parts due to being Chinese made.
