I purchased 4 of these stools to go around a bar top I installed in my kitchen when I remodeled my house. They ship unassembled and tightly packed, so the box is quite a bit smaller than you'd expect. They assemble very easily, coming with the 4 bolts and a single allen key per chair. You set the base on the floor, set the height adjust cylinder in the base, attach the seat bracket that contains the height adjust lever and the foot rest to the bottom of the seat, then place that over the cylinder and you're done. These are very light weight and are definitely top heavy, but I don't feel like I'm going to tip over when sitting in them. When I get off the seat I do feel a bit tippy and like my large frame (240lbs) is going to bend the base, but no issues so far. I have 3 girls from ages 3 to 10 who love them and say they are comfy. I find that they could use a bit more padding, but I'm also not a light guy, so take that for what it is. The visual look of the product is cool, but obviously not high end. It's definitely not ugly though, just don't expect a showroom quality high dollar look. The fabric feels nice and soft, but can be a bit of a pain to clean crumbs and such off, as it acts like a Velcro strip for food. I'd recommend to anyone needing extra height on a budget. My top is at 42" to the BOTTOM of the surface, and these stools are just about perfect when fully extended. ... show more

Small, but mostly comfortable as long as you don't intend to try to lean back and actually use the backrest. I am not a fan of the black metal with bronze brushstrokes, but that is easily remedied with a can of black spray paint. I do like the front edge of the seat, because there is no digging into the back of your legs, and the footrest makes the whole sitting experience more comfortable overall. They are height-adjustable but only a fully grown adult has the weight necessary to make them lower. Overall, not bad but not great. ... show more

Love the look and style of these chairs .I ordered 2 more .One of the chairs was damaged and the company was quick to fix the problem. They gave me different options and I was able to pick the one that satisfied me the best .Great to work with this company.My guests love them. My husband spends a lot of time working on his laptop at the kitchen ,so he finds them a little too narrow to sit for long periods ,so I bought 2 different bar stools from a different company to accommodate him . ... show more

While these looks ok not as good as the picture the some of the drill holes were not done properly therefore screws keep falling out which makes them unsafe. I would not recommend buying them.

This product while looks nice is very easy to tip over. The bottom base is not heavy at all. Not all that comfortable either, but I guess you get what you pay for. These are for a bar that we have downstairs that doesn't get used very often so will keep them.

Very easy to assemble, took 10 minutes to do both chairs. I slide out of seat when leaning back..( very low back rest). Looks great, love the color and material.

    • Comfortable but small seat size
The only thing I don't really like about this product is the smaller seat size. But I love the color: chair and base, the ease of use, the height adjustment, the ease to clean.... Good product

    • The seat is too small for my size 4 "seat"
The seat depth from back to front is actually 12 inches!!!!! It felt like I was falling forward and it took effort to sit in this seat. UNCOMFORTABLE! It was going to cost almost as much as the chairs cost to return them, so I guess I will find someone with kids that can use them.
