These barstools are of good quality and comfortable to sit on. Love that they swivel. They were fairly easy to assemble although one chair back did not align with the holes so we had use a hammer in order to get them aligned. The cost is fair. I recommend them.

It took a little while to put the first stool together, but everything was packaged well, and once the first one was done, the others went quickly! All the parts were included. We were surprised at how comfortable the stools are, given the seat is firm. They are very sturdy, a good weight, and a solid feel to them. Our friends all remark how comfy they are, as well as attractive. We have had them over a year now, and they look as good as when they came...no wear marks or flattened cushions, despite the fact they are used daily. We highly recommend them!

Are these the best bar stools ever? No, but for the price you can't do any better. After spending way more than I wanted to on every part of my basement bar, I didn't want to spend a fortune on bar stools. After shopping locally I found that good bar stools are very expensive, and cheap bar stools only feel cheap. These stools are easy to assemble, and are very comfortable. The only part I don't like is that the seat part moves around a bit with some weight on it. I believe this is because of the swivel mechanism, and the fact that I am on the upper end of the weight limit. Other than that, the gets are sturdy and the back rest is fairly comfortable. And I was impressed enough with the first 4 that I bought 2 more to complete my bar.

A real nice set of bar stools. My issue with it was the the wobbly part. I took off the plastic pieces that were nailed in to the bottom of the chair legs and replaced them with some wood protectors. That solved the issue. I like them very much though.

Overall, we like the stools. After assembling the first one of the four we purchased, we set it on the floor and it was perfectly level on the floor--no rocking side-to-side. But then the other three of the four we purchased had the same problem. None of the other three, after following the instructions perfectly, laid level on the floor. Each rocked like a leg was too short. (It turned out that two legs were too short). So I decided to stick a cardboard shim between the top of the offending legs and the bottom of the stool's seat. I did this to lengthen the two legs that were too short. To do this . . . 1. I tore from the box the bolts had come in, two small cardboard (about the size of a matchbook cover). 2. I then folded these two rectangles in half making a four-layer cardboard shim 3. I unbolted one of the legs that seemed shorter from the bottom of the stool's seat 4. To jam this four-layer cardboard shim between the leg's top and the bottom of the stool's seat, I placed the middle of the cardboard shim between the top of stool's leg and the bottom of the stool's seat. 5. Then I pushed to force the shim into position, dragging the shim into position as I forced the stool's leg back into position atop the bottom rim of the stool's seat. (Note: I had tried to just force the shim between the top of the leg and bottom rim of the seat with no success, so I ended up pushing it between the top of the leg and bottom of the stool's rim as I pushed the leg back atop the bottom rim of the stool.) 6. I repeated the process for the leg directly across and it leveled the stool. 7. I also had trouble with two of the four stools aligning the chair back to the seat. Tip: bolt the sides then bolt the middle.

Only problem in assembly was the base steel that attaches to back of seat. Off about 3/16" so resorted to use of channel locks and another tool to strain it into place to allow center 2 bolt placement. 2nd one faster after experience. After one month one seat got wobbly and discovered a key crossbeam of wood had split where there was a knot. Contacted supplier and the kindly sent a whole new replacement seat. Back to stress to connect the center two bolts back to seat. Overall happy with purchase for price.
