I order the a/c unit in May but did not have time to unpack it and test it until July. Although the a/c unit was their biggest it was not big enough for my shop area. Amazon refused to accept a return due to it being over 30 days from delivery. They told me to contact Costway directly. Long story short, the customer service people at Costway asked a couple questions and sent me a free shipping return label. As soon as I sent them a copy of the return receipt, a full credit showed up on my credit card. Works great so far been running for 2 hours. Only down side is instructions for installing in vertical window doesn't make sense. Plastic inserts it comes with for the window has one bolt and nut and to make my own whole and use tape to keep from sliding down. If it wasn't for that I would give 5 stars. ... show more

I bought this to try to keep our entire garage space cooler, and I am very happy with the results. The set up was super easy basically just take it out of the box and it comes with everything it needs. It also includes a heat feature which you don’t see all the time. 2 huge problems: the window slider for the exhaust only will fit a window 36 inches or wider given that the slider blocks the exhaust if any narrower. So I had to cut it. They when I got it installed, it doesn't cool as the air coming out just isn't very cold. Complete rip off - dont buy this.

For how expensive this unit is, it came with a poor quality exhaust hose that constantly falls out, overheats and the AC mode constantly turns off.
