The 580P provides protection, especially, for my blue eyed kid whose eyes are extremely sensitive in the summertime. I got these to replace a pair of Maui Jim Seafarers. I think the lens quality is equal. The frames seems more sturdy on the costas, maybe because they are more flexible and can absorb more shock. The frame style is very different, I like the MJ's better, but time to move on. I wish I could get the Costas with prescription, but the would require not having the costas 580 lens.     • light weight, durable, protects eyes from UVA UVB and debris.
My favorite sunglasses. I wear them everyday for over 10 years, usually get the lenses replaced about once a year and replace the frames about every 2 years. Sadly it seems I lose a pair or severly damage a pair about every 3 years so I always have a spare pair.

These sun glasses fit good with the older temples, they fit even better now with the new improved arms, they fit perfect, I liked them so much I ordered another pair. I usually wear sunglasses all day at work, these are so comfortable and light weight I almost forget I have them on .

Best price.great quality. great warranty from costa. I think the person with the bad review can't read because it says these are polycarbonate lenses and it doesn't say anywhere these are glass lenses.
