ZZ Plant features solid, green foliage. The ZZ Plant is great for tabletops. It does well in spaces that have medium, indirect light. Place ZZ Plant in a spot that receives medium light (3-5 hours of sunlight). Water your plant about once every 2 weeks with approximately 1 cup and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the ZZ Plant sit in water or overly soggy soil. The ZZ Plant arrives in a 6-inch plant pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes.The ZZ Plant is a slow grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the ZZ Plant, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. This plant is considered hardy in USDA Zone 9-11.Be aware of third-party sellers; other companies try to imitate our quality. The plant came in the UPS truck. The new growth was burned and looks sad. I have been buying this ZZ plant from Costa Farms and the plants always looked great, healthy and full. The ZZ plant I got yesterday was damaged and about 1/3 of the size plants in the pot. Not happy with the plant. I payed $15.00 more for this last plant from just 3 months ago. Not happy. Thought I had a great place to order plants. Not so sure now. UPDATE on the ZZ plant. I contacted Costa Farms and sent them a picture of the plant that was damaged. So happy to say that they sent me a replacement plant in just a few days. This new plant was absolutely gorgeous. In the hot days of summer here in Texas, I think the best way to get a plant is to have it shipped thru FedEx two day. When I received the new plant it was standing tall and not curled to one side and damaged due to the heat. I will be ordering all my future plants thru Costa Farms and if needed, I will pay a little extra for shipping. Thank you Costa Farms for caring about your customers. I bought this on a gamble, but the plant arrived in great condition, fully packed w/ soil, and well protected! It has since done wonderfully among my sturdy plants, and has several new stalks growing out from it. If you are questioning whether to purchase, don't hesitate!

The media could not be loaded. The company that sells this plant advertised it as a 12 inch tall and the picture that they show you the plant is very full. Well you can see I did not get what I thought I was buying. Also, now they are selling them for five dollars cheaper than what I paid, so I’m a little disappointed, but I’m gonna keep it as I am really good with plants and I am certain that she will become a beautiful full figured girl within a matter of time. ZZ plants are very easy to maintain as they only need to be watered once every couple weeks and you just transplant them into a bigger pot when they start to outgrow the one they’re in . ... show more

I ordered a 22 inch ZZ plant on December 26. I chose the plant I did because I saw it was coming out of Costa Farms and I had purchased four other plants from this vendor. When it arrived, I noticed some burned or insect eaten leaves towards the base of a plant so I contacted Costa Farms and told them what I was experiencing. They immediately said they would replace the plant and I did not need to return it. They said I could try to revive it or throw it away, whatever I preferred. They shipped a replacement plant the next day. I have been very impressed with the quality of Costa Farms plants and most are still growing and thriving in my home. I have a local nursery near my home but their plants are never as beautiful as Costa Farms plants. ... show more
