ZZ Plant features solid, green foliage. The ZZ Plant is great for tabletops. It does well in spaces that have medium, indirect light. Place ZZ Plant in a spot that receives medium light (3-5 hours of sunlight). Water your plant about once every 2 weeks with approximately 1 cup and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the ZZ Plant sit in water or overly soggy soil. The ZZ Plant arrives in a 6-inch plant pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes.The ZZ Plant is a slow grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the ZZ Plant, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. This plant is considered hardy in USDA Zone 9-11. I would like to express my disappointment with my recent purchase. While the plant arrived earlier than expected, the delivery box was significantly damaged, which I attribute to the carrier. Upon opening the box, approximately two cups of soil spilled onto my carpet, creating an unnecessary mess. This occurred because the nursery pot, already filled with soil and wrapped in plastic, had additional soil placed on top of the plastic wrap, which then fell out during unboxing. Additionally, the decorative pot was cracked upon arrival. While it is made of lightweight and inexpensive plastic, it does have an aesthetically pleasing appearance from a distance. Furthermore, the plant itself did not meet the advertised specifications. It was listed as 12 inches tall but measured only 8 to 9 inches, representing a 25% discrepancy from what was promised. Although the plant appeared healthy, there were visible signs of insect damage, though no live pests were present. I do appreciate that there is some new growth on the plant. Given these issues, I would have returned the product if possible. Based on this experience, I would recommend purchasing plants from a local nursery where you can inspect them in person before buying. I’ve been wanting the low light low maintenance ZZ plant. Costs Farms packaged it very well, arrived with only one leaf damaged. Think that’s more from the delivery handling than from the packing. A healthy plant. Dirt was to the rim, and wrapped in plastic to prevent dirt loss. I ordered the optional pot, and looks just like the photo. Quality. No bugs, clear care instructions included, size was exactly what was described and I ordered. I’ve only had it for 2 weeks, and it’s already thriving. I have it in a room that only gets low western daylight and it’s doing great. I’d buy, and have, again from Costa Farms as I trust their packaging and plant quality. ... show more

Update: The company did help in getting me a refund. I will continue buying my plants from them. The company’s customer service didn’t help. I bought a ZZ for my friend for Mother’s Day. She has a ton of plants so she knows what she is doing. It died within a month.
