Well I wasn't sure what I was getting for over $200 but these are super nice. They're not like any of my other polarized sunglasses. All those do is crisp up the vision field but these actually have a red tint once you put them on that completely comfort your eyes and takes away any glare or unpleasantness from overcast days. Days like the one in the photo are the ones that give me migraines. For some reason the overcast view triggers a headache so I was willing to try something new. I like these a lot. They're nice and wide and the hinges have a little bit of spring to them so they go further than normal in case your head is bigger like mine. I do believe however that for this much money there should be something very soothing and comforting at the tips of the arms- behind the ears. It's solid all the way down and I would find something around that area little more soft. My head gets sore easy so this might not be an everybody problem. I only have two other pairs of sunglasses and these have immediately became my favorite. They come with a smallish zippered case but I have a large case that these will be going in for better protection. ... show more

I knew I couldn't go wrong with Costa Del Mar sunglasses and this pair hasn't disappointed me. They are comfortable to wear and stay in place well thanks to the flexible nose pads and temple tips. They provide good coverage and cut the glare well. If I had seen these in person I might have passed them by because of the relatively thick rims (thicker than I expected from the photos), but I think they look good on me and it might not hurt to stretch my usual style boundaries a bit. When I ordered them they were ~$200, but now they are $160 and they also have a 30% off coupon promotion. For sunglasses of this quality, they are a total bargain at the current net price. ... show more

These Costa Del Mar Polarized sunglasses are made to be use out on the beach, the water. The price point for these glasses is very good, they are usually a little more expensive. The quality of the glasses is excellent. They were a perfect fit for me. The clarity was good, because of their color, things looked a little yellow but I do not have a problem with that. If I could give these sunglasses more than 5 stars, I would. They're hands down the best sunglasses I've had yet, and I've owned a lot. Their fantastically made, and it's obvious that lots of care was taken with their design. The hinges are properly tightened and double barreled, so they're extremely durable feeling. The lenses are polarized, and they seriously make everything more brilliant looking. These sunglasses are really stylish, too, and I love the way they look on me. These are obviously very well made and protective sunglasses. They are very dark and do a good job repelling glare. A premium and attractive pair of high branded sunglasses. Where they lost my wife a little bit is with the fitment. The sunglasses don't rest completely against her face. You can see in the head on photo that the nose bridge is a bit narrow on this model. The width is perfect for her face, but the rather skinny nose mold makes the sunglasses sit up a too high. That's not an absolute catastrophe, but they fit different than her Ray-Bans. So, she doesn't end up with a very relaxed look with these top end sunglasses. So, these are going to be designated mostly for driving use and will live in her truck. Costa Del Mar does include a very nice carrying case and a nice microfiber cleaning cloth. A pro tip is to always carry the cleaning cloth which gives you a safe, scratch free way to clean these premium sunglasses. Shirt tails, paper towels and other cloths will scratch up your high dollar lenses and ruin your sunglasses. My wife has quite a few pairs of expensive sunglasses to protect her sensitive eyes. Costa Del Mar is a very well known brand and the price is right in the ballpark of what you expect premium sunglasses to cost. Our bottom line, though, is that we prefer the Ray-Ban brand to Costa Del Mar based on the strange fit. ... show more

These glasses are great quality and really shade out the sun. The green hue is perfect when I'm on the water because it makes the sky and the ocean more vivid and much less blinding. They're polarized, which is a must for me, and the quality of the glasses is top-notch. Great sunglasses! I got them for my husband because they looked more masculine in style. When they arrived I tried them outside and could not believe how light and clear everything looked. Since my normal sunglass lens are too dark in the shade, I'm going to try these on my next hike in wooded/sunny areas so my husband may lose out on these.
