  • Great product
Color: Black, Prizm 24k
They work perfectly and are very easy to use. The only issue I’ve noticed is when I’m driving. If I already have Bluetooth connected to my car for music and I receive a phone call, the call automatically goes to the glasses, and the music continues playing through the glasses instead of switching back to the car. Other than that, they work great ... show more

  • Great video/camera quality
Color: Black, Prizm 24k
Bought these as a gift for my spouse. Love the quality, shipping came so fast. Great camera quality, easy to get images and videos to your phone! Music can play and sounds great, person next to you won’t be able to hear it.

  • Nice pov use for paintball
Color: Black, Prizm 24k
I’m really happy with these I got them for paintball to get a good POV vision because the camera is not offset to the right or left. I like the fish eye an angle it gets a lot more footage. They’re super stylish. I got a lot of compliments on it. I also let other people wear them as well. They are comfortable. I would say if you do wear them for more than two or three hours, though you do feel the pressure of it, squeezing on your head. I’ve still yet to run out of footage. The hyper laps is pretty cool. ... show more

  • Great sunglasses with AI
Color: Black, Prizm 24k
I have really enjoyed these glasses. They have great vision as sunglasses, but obviously that's not the reason you buy these. The meta functionality has been incredibly helpful in my work. I'm able to take quick photos and video, even if my hands are already full or writing notes. The meta ai has been useful for asking questions and getting directions. It's all saved in the app on the phone, so I can go back to things as I need to. The only small drawback is the fit. It's not perfect for everyone, so I'd go try on glasses at a meta store to make sure you like them. These are also a bit heavy, but I've worn them for hours without too much discomfort. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good pair of ai sport or work sunglasses. ... show more

  • Feels More Like a Surveillance Device Than a Pair of Glasses
Color: Black, Prizm 24k
I was genuinely excited for the Meta Vanguard glasses, but the moment I set them up, it became clear this product is completely dependent on Meta’s ecosystem — and not in a good way. You cannot use these glasses at all unless you: -Install Meta’s app on your phone -Grant it access to your photos, files, and storage -Allow telemetry and other system-level permissions -Route all functionality (photos, videos, audio, AI queries) through Meta’s servers There is zero option to simply pair via Bluetooth and capture media locally. No standalone mode. No privacy mode. Nothing. The result is that the entire device feels like you are putting a camera and microphone on your face that reports back to Mark Zuckerberg's ecosystem 24/7. Whether intentional or not, the design practically funnels everything you see, say, or capture into Meta’s systems. And this is where it becomes a deal-breaker for me: I personally am not comfortable with a product where all my audio, video, and usage data is handled by a company already known for massive data collection. In my opinion, when a device is this tightly locked to Meta’s cloud, it opens the door, whether now or in the future, for exactly the kind of access that government agencies like the CIA or FBI could request or obtain through legal channels. On top of that, it’s impossible for me not to think about companies like Palantir, whose entire business revolves around analyzing huge streams of data. When a wearable device must pipe everything to Meta’s servers, it raises the concern (again, my opinion) that this becomes yet another endpoint feeding the broader surveillance and analytics ecosystem. Whether or not that’s happening today, the architecture definitely makes it possible, and that alone is enough for me to pass. Meta could have easily avoided all these concerns by allowing: -Direct Bluetooth photo/video capture -Local-only recording mode -An offline mode without full data permissions -The ability to use the glasses without funneling everything through Zuckerberg’s app But right now, these glasses feel less like a product I own and more like a node in a giant data-collection network. I returned them immediately. Unless you’re comfortable with the level of access Meta requires — and the potential implications of that — I would not recommend these at all. ... show more

  • Excellent product!
Color: Black, Prizm 24k
This is great for picture taking while cycling (why I bought it), listening to music, getting stats from my Garmin (with free CIQ app), and doing other functions. You do have to integrate it with Meta AI which some folks have a problem with ("You have no privacy. Get over it.") but why Zuck would want your cycling or running data is beyond me. Also, there is not a head's up display, but I find those to be a pain and not very functional. A little heavier than "normal" sports glasses, but not bad. Set up is easy too! ... show more

  • Do not buy if you do not want to be bothered when fishing Do not buy if you do not want to be bothered when fishing
Color: Black, Prizm 24k
Great sunglasses with features! Love the case!! I wanted to use it when I ride MTB. Great on fishing if you want to video your catch. Only con is that my wife keep saying “Hey meta, take a video” to me, so I have to stop fishing and take her videos beware! Hands free photo and video shooting is great. Helps me in many way. I do not post pictures on instagram or facebook, but if you do, great way to post it with meta vanguard. Al feature where you ask meta questions may make you weird person in crowd but very helpful(handsfree!). I got my oakley Kato this year and I love it too. This vanguard look and feel similar and just $200 more from it, you get all these cool features. I am getting more lenses eventually when they come out for purchase. I am loving this sunglasses!!! ... show more

Color: Black, Prizm 24k
If you have a wide head like me these might be a little snug . The different bridge cushions helped out a lot. I use these primarily to capture footage of my shooting drills when I go to the range . They take amazing pics and video quality is amazing . And yes they work great as just regular sunglasses as well ... show more
