Bottom line: The optics are incredible, and they were so comfortable I usually forgot I was wearing them. If you can afford these, they are worth it- especially if you are going to be on the water where there is inescapable glare for long periods of time. I would normally never spend $200+ on a pair of sunglasses, but I was going to spend a week on a chartered sailboat and I knew I'd be on the water from sunup to sundown, so I went ahead and splurged. The first thing I noticed when I put them on at home was the amazing optics- they really are simply incredible. This was only re-enforced once I was on the water. One nice feature- the glasses have rubber on the tips of the side pieces (so- behind the ears) and on the bridge of the nose, so even when I was covered with sunscreen, these glasses never slipped. Negatives- Price. Second- these are just slightly tight just behind the ear. I tend to get headaches when I wear glasses that are snug or tight, so at first I hated this "snug fit" and thought I'd send them back, but I put them on to mow the lawn and in 30 seconds I forgot I was even wearing them. They were NOT tight on the temples, and I think that's why I had no problems with these. UPDATE- 1 year later- I still absolutely love these glasses, wear them all the time- definitely worth the $.

Sits around ears comfortably and snug. Covers mid eyebrow to bottom curve under eye. Eyelashes don't hit lens when blinking...had that annoying problem with most others. Perfect glasses for me with great presentation in harder shelled box. Look exceptional! Great brand and high quality!

My third pair of Costa glasses. Really great for muddy freshwater. I can see pretty clearly and they block out sun/glare really well. Great for sight fishing bass, bluegill, pondies. Would recommend. A bit snug though so if you’ve got a big head go with something else.

A friend gave me an extra pair that he was not wearing 5 years ago. I instantly was blown away with the clarity, comfort, and how well they cut through the water glare. I am a fisherman and will buy these over and over again. I bought this pair after an unfortunate spill on my kayak and the original pair I had went for a swim. My bad, I didn't have my floating strap on them. I have been wearing these since. I broke a lens on these buy steeping on them. My bad. I sent my glasses to Costa and for a small fee they fixed my glasses quickly and got them back to me. It almost seemed like they replaced them entirely. The picture included is a current picture of them today. I believe they are over two years old and not a scratch on the lenses. They have been dropped and kicked. The glass lenses hold up to scratches very well. They are expensive, but well worth the investment!
