I stumbled upon Costa Del Mar brand, while browsing for Oakley's online. I then saw the reviews on Amazon, and decided to try the Reefton. Well, I am happy to say that these are keepers! I tried both Glass (580G) and Plastic (580P) and found Plastic better, mainly due to color, and weight. Glasses are great too, but I found the color tone of Plastics better. I am very picking when it comes to sun-glasses and I can confidently say that the previous reviews were spot on, and this pair does feel well built, very comfortable, provides for good coverage around eyes, and does feel high quality. Bought my boyfriend a new pair since the ones he has had lasted him 2.5 years before he laid a piece of steel on them and broke them! He has never kept up with glasses nor have they been able to withstand his activities near as long as the first pair of Costas! These are great glasses and very comfortable for him to wear out, while fishing , while driving and working. Not to mention they look awesome on his handsome face. Shipping was fast and great customer service. I would definitely recommend Sunglasses Hut and most definitely the Costas Reefton 580p glasses. ... show more

    • Great glasses just have an issue with the screw backing out.

Great glasses as Costas are known for.. I wore these a few times and the screw was backing out of the right hinge so I screwed it back down. A few weeks later the screw backed completely out and the glasses fell off my face. Now I have to pay for shipping back to Costa and pay the repair fee (around $11) for "Repairs" or a new screw. This is really disappointing that the customer is burdened with the expense of shipping and the repair fee, especially if there is a manufacturing defect which is the cause of the screw coming out. Especially hurts when you have paid top dollar for "quality" sunglasses such as Costas. With that being said I have had a few other pairs of Costas which have never had problems. I am curious on how Costa handles this "repair". I have heard they have great customer service... We will see. ... show more
