  • Great glasses
Color: Matte Black/Grey Blue Mirrored Polarized... Size: 59 mm
Thus was a gift for my husband. He had some that were scratched. He loved them but didn’t last long because after Christmas we couldn’t find them. I guess they were thrown out with Christmas boxes 🤷🏼♀️

  • Exactly as described. Not fake as claimed by another review.
As with most of my Amazon orders these arrived a day early and in perfect condition. They came packaged in the factory Costa box with a hard case, sticker, information booklet, and a cleaning cloth. I had read in a review here that a buyer believed them to be fake due to the etching on the lens being "580" without a 'P' or a 'G' following. With a little research on the Costa website, and a few other resources, I found that Costa adds a P to the end of the etching to signify a plastic lens. On all glass lenses they only put the "580" with nothing else preceding or following. The only way this is different is on a prescription lens which will include either a Costa logo or a 'C' preceding the "580" etching. So I can say these were a phenomenal price, in perfect condition, and are absolutely legitimate Costa glasses. ... show more

  • NIce clear thin glass lens, crisp vision, nice snug frames for sport
Color: Tortoise/Grey Blue Mirrored Polarized 580g Size: 59 mm
I like these sunglasses a lot. I wear two brands of glasses, Maui Jim of which I have 3 pair and this is my first pair of Costa. They all cost around the same price. All 4 sunglasses are thin glass lens. I dont buy plastic lens. Image quality through the glass lens is nice and crisp for both brands, very little difference. The frames of these Costa's are super great for my head, the rubber strip on the bottom creates a secure grip on your head. They have pretty good wrap around protection but not to much which I like. I like these frames a lot. With that said I feel the frames on the Maui Jim are of better quality as they use true hinges on the frames where the Costa is just a metal pin through plastic frame. I feel at this price point it should be better constructed. It will be interesting to see how they hold up. This arrangement reminds me of most Costa and Oakley products, all owned by the same company (along with a dozen brands the parent company owns) and all seem to have this less expensive metal pin through plastic frames even though the Costa is their more premium priced line. Anyway, if you like the look of these sunglasses, I say go for it (with the glass lens) the fit for my medium to larger head is awesome (as long as you like a firm grip) and I think the look is awesome as well. If not also check the Maui Jim line, not owned by some giant conglomerate. ... show more

  • Great expectations, great delivery
Color: Matte Black/Grey Blue Mirrored Polarized... Size: 59 mm
This is a great deal for these sunglasses and they shipped before the expected date. As far as the sunglasses themselves, these are the best pair I have ever owned and they make everything look much better. There is absolutely no glare while wearing these and the colors appear much brighter through these glasses. I was skeptical of paying so much for a pair of these, but after I actually wore them around a little the price seems like a steal. They fit very well, but the actual lenses are very large and will leave a terrible tan line if you are not careful. As for the weight of the glasses, they are heavier than most glasses but it is not as noticeable as other reviews make it seem. Overall, these glasses are definitely worth the money, especially if you are being active or fish a lot in them. ... show more

  • Great Glasses
I have a pair of very very nice polarized Maui Jims that I love. I got these Costas to see what all the fuss was about. I have to say these glasses make everything look amazing. Truly an incredible sight. Everyone who I've told to try them has been shocked by how much these 580 glass lenses make everything look. I use them to fish and I will never get another brand for that purpose. When on the beach I spot fish that others with polarized lenses cannot. And this holds true even compared to my $300+ polarized glasses. There are a couple drawbacks though. The glasses are abnormally heavy. After wearing them all day on my kayak or pier they take their toll. It gets uncomfortable after prolonged use but with glass lenses this can be expected. I just kinda wish the frames were lighter to offset the lens weight. One more little gripe is that they leave the worst tan line of any glasses. You will look like a complete retard if you don't take them off. These are just minor issues I have with these glasses and, given the chance, I would buy these all over again. ... show more

  • Amazing lenses with from a quality company who stands by the product
These Costa Fantail plastic frame blue mirror lens sunglasses are an excellent choice for serious fishermen who are also athletic and need reliable yet practical and truly effective eye protection. I have been wearing them for bone fishing for years and absolutely will always buy Costa. I had to send my last pair in after I ran over them—breaking both the right lens and frame. For the cost of shipping only, Costa mailed me a brand new pair 3 years after the original purchase with no strings or questions whatsoever. They are lightweight, comfortable, and I can see into the water—so well that I was able to fetch a gold spoon I accidentally lost in the weeds. ... show more
