- DOT Approved: Milwaukee MPH9809DOT modular full-face helmet has a composite shell which is a type of protective gear that meets and exceeds the Department of Transportation FMVSS 218 safety standard. Its made with strong light weight material, designed to provide high level protection to the rider in the event of a crash. Our helmet has a thick EPS (expanded polystyrene) inner lining for comfort and added protection.
- Safety: Motorcycle helmet for men and women is designed with a comfortable adjustable Y-strap (chin strap) retention systems to keep the helmet secure, which is important during high-impact activities. A modular biker helmet contains a flip-up feature that allows the rider to easily flip the front part of the helmet up and away from their face, making it convenient for taking breaks, eating, or talking to other people while on a bike or snowmobile.

Runs small in size. Very light weight helmet. Is too small for me. I am putting a Styrofoam head in it to stretch it out some. Well-made but like I said it is small for the size. Get the next size up if you want a good fit.

Package came in today and I found no damage. The helmets were packed nice and I removed one to make sure that it fit and yes it did These are definitely the right color to be seen on the roads.. quality and workmanship is spot on. Cheap vents; at least they will see me

I believe they say, whoever they is, that you should replaced your helmet every 5 years. When some helmets are now over $1000, that ain't happening. But, my old high viz Scorpion is now around 12 years old, so I started shopping for a new one last year. You want a helmet that protects you if you fall. But, I think being seen is imperative to prevent you from getting into a crash in the first place. I am amazed how many black helmets there are. Couple that with a black jacket, and you can consider yourself invisible. When I limited the search to high viz helmets this helmet came up. It is a modular helmet in the high visibility yellow that I wanted. It was $150. It even has the internal tinted visor just like my Scorpion did. I decided to take a chance. The helmet feels just a tiny bit short from top to bottom, and a little bit close to the chin. It's like they made it a half inch too small in every direction, though it fits my head. The vents are absolutely cheap and too small. However, keep in mind it's a $150 helmet. I can live with them. It has a quick release snap that I haven't decided whether I like or not. Even if I use it for my short rides, I think it will work. At least they will see me.

Got into a motorcycle accident at highway speeds. This helmet held up really well. I was very impressed. Loved the helmet before the wreck. I will definitely be buying this product again. The helmet took a pretty significant impact and was all scratched up but my head was fine. One of the few things that wasn’t injured during the accident. Thanks to this helmet.
