...about this product SOONER! Brace yourself, this is a lengthy, in-depth review. *raises hand* Hi, my name is Ashley, and I am a skincare-aholic 😆. I’m 40 years old. During my youth (14 years old - early 20’s), I consistently had dry skin which now looking back, I attribute to my unknowingness of proper skincare products 👀 circa 90’s Sea Breeze and Oxy Pads I’m looking at you 👀 and routine. At approximately 25 years old to present, I began having combination skin that is slightly dry around my mouth and chin and my T-zone mildly oily. Within the last 10 years or so, it has become relatively sensitive and a vast array of cosmetic ingredients/products now cause me to break out when they once did not. I began having to wash my face twice a day, everyday, in the A.M. and P.M. In the morning upon awakening, the surface of my face feels a little heavy(?) and congested. The feeling is difficult to explain; it just feels icky and unclean. I have very very tiny closed comedone bumps around the hormonal zone of my mouth and chin. Though small, a few are large enough to detect by sight which affect the texture of that area and if I push my tongue against the inside of my mouth in that area, many can be seen. Obviously I don’t walk around in public doing that like a weirdo lol but I do at home while inspecting my face and they drive me to near insanity. Over the past two years, this year especially, I’ve noticed that the elasticity in my face (even more so behind my chin at the top of my neck) has begun to change and the inevitable declination of middle aged skin has emerged. I used to be able to extract the tiny closed comedone bumps with ease, but now it has become much more difficult. I am successful at extracting some, but truthfully more often than not, I wind up pushing the comedone deeper into my pore causing a cystic blemish. One to two times a month, without extraction, I get a LARGE hormonal cystic blemish that have a cluster of whiteheads (does anyone else loathe that word and find it as gross as I do? 😂) underneath the skin. These blemishes are far too deep to extract and it seems like every single time I start to, like clockwork, my husband enters my bathroom, sees me, and says, “Baaaaabe…babe! STOP. Leave it alone. You’re going to create a wound and then be upset with yourself for doing so. Aaaashleyyyyy! Leave 👏🏻 it 👏🏻 alone 👏🏻!” But I caaaan’t 😩 so of course he is right and I get extremely frustrated, angry, and upset with myself for creating a wound the size of Jupiter and then ultimately causing hyperpigmentation that takes forever to fade. I have a routine which consists of cleanser, toner, serum (enter this product), moisturizer, and sunscreen. Holy shizznit! I LOVE this serum! When I pump it onto my fingertips the amount is perfect as a little goes a long way. It is very thin and slides over my skin smoothly and effectively. I usually dispense one more pump and gently rub it into my neck and décolleté. Soon after rubbing it in it's as if my skin begins to gulp it down. There is zero scent. I've been using it now for exactly 4 weeks and I shiz you not, my husband has commented on my skin numerous times. His exact words - “Your skin looks amazing babe, seriously, did you change something? I’ve never seen it look so clear and smooth. Did you get Botox or something???” Hahaha! Omg I love him so much. I told him I switched to a new serum and it appears my skin digs it. Also, I don’t know why, but my comedones have disappeared and I have not had one single breakout. I’m not blowing smoke up your butts and it’s certainly not smoke and mirrors so it has to be this product in conjunction with the others. After application, along with my other products, my silicone based foundation glides on smoothly and my face is adorned with a dewy supple glow. My skin looks so good that my husband asked me to buy it for him and HE loves it too. Now that he has been using it for close to three weeks his skin has transformed as well. He has very sensitive and reactive skin that becomes easy irritated and red. He has relatively large pores and gets maybe 1 pimple every 3 months. He has zero redness or flaky irritated skin and his pores have notably reduced in size. We have been married 14 years (together 17 years total) and I have never seen his skin look so smooth and radiant! He absolutely loves it this product as well. I would like to note that this is my own personal review and I have not been asked to provide one which I find happens a lot. I just wanted to share my thoughts and opinions. I have been using this product for over one month and the results are amazing. My skin is softer and looks more plump. Others have noticed the difference as well. I use this product with vitamin C serum and peptides.

    • Results after 1 use!
After one use my face was so soft and smooth. I've been using it for a week now and my face feels brighter, smoother, and softer! I thought it might have a weird smell being made from snail mucin but it had a pleasant mild cleanser scent. One pump is all you need for your whole face and neck so the bottle will last a good while! I tried a cotton pad to apply it but found it's much better and easier with my fingers. When massaging it in it can turn a little white but gently massage it in and it will absorb just fine. ... show more

I noticed a lot of people who reviewed this product complained about both pumps not working properly. I had the same issue and it was really frustrating. If you cover one of the holes that’s actually working and push the pump down a few times it should eventually start coming out. It took me a minute but it eventually started working properly.     • Wasn't expecting results after just 2 uses!
I have been a fan of snail mucin products for a while now, but I don't get to use them often because they're usually fairly pricey. I was up in the air with whether or not I should get this one, but I went for it because it was on sale for almost half price. I have fairly oily skin, and I'm 40 years old with no wrinkles, but a few fine lines on my forehead. In just 2 uses, this has made my skin feel notably smoother, and the fine lines are pumped up so they're less visible. I already love this product, and it has convinced me to buy the eye cream as well (since you're not supposed to use this near the eyes). I will probably even buy the small kit that has the face wash and regular serum as well. Cosrx has struck gold with this one. ... show more

    • Very Sticky
The product makes your skin glow really nice and even temporarily reduces pore size, my only issue is it’s very sticky. I don’t layer my products because I don’t like mixing ingredients in different products due to adverse reactions or products not taking effect due to different formulations in each product. So I simply wash my face and then apply the snail mucin. So the stickiness isn’t from using other products or layering, It’s just simply a sticky product. So if you don’t like sticky products then I wouldn’t purchase. I wouldn’t purchase again because it only gives the illusion of glowing illuminated skin temporarily. Once a few hours go by your skin is right back to normal. Also the sticky feeling on your face and neck is just too much, my neck sticking together, pillow sticking to my face all for a temporary glow?
