Bed arrived within a couple weeks. Packaged well, no damage noted. Took about two hours for my husband to put it together. Not hard. Very sturdy does not wobble with the extra side pieces attached to headboard. We have a king size, very heavy, double spring mattress. The mattress is 15 inches high. We also put a 2 inch topper on it, and it fit nicely. Still plenty of headboard showing. See pics. Super pleased with our purchase!! Beautiful material easy to wipe clean. Great price as we compared in store prices and could not compete with quality or price!! Please note, the “Light Grey” color is really a linen color. We love the color, although not as it is shown. It took me about an hour and 1/2 to setup. The instructions were easy to follow, and once finished it looked awesome. My wife was impressed with the quality. We're using (2) twin XL adjustable bed bases instead of the slants.

This is a sturdy, well made bed. From the material to the fittings, it's worth the money. I highly recommend it and would purchase it again. The only issue I have is the color is supposed to be a light gray. It is not. It's an off white.

It took me little over 2hrs to put it together all by myself & the directions were really easy to follow. So far feels pretty sturdy & no noise or lossness. I have a tall mattress 14in I believe & I’m satisfied on how it sits on the bed. My only complaint is the plastic pieces that hold the wood in place to sit the mattress on are the cheapest thing about this purchase. I can see over time them breaking easily. But for the price you pay I can’t complain too much!! The bed doesn’t look cheap in person at all. ... show more

I bought this bed with caution. I have seen it for $800 but only paid $200. I thought it was too good to be true. I read a review from Avery along with step by step pics for a split king. I'm 76 my husband is 72 and we assembled it in about 2.5hrs. Not a record but for our age I happy. No damage. Good packaging. -Color is exactly as expected (Light grey linen). -Screw Holes all lined up perfectly without any loose, damaged or missing parts or damaged upholstery. Cons: N/A Assembly Tips: (Detailed pictures Attached) -Before attaching Footboard, place/slide into position, Adjustable Base(s). -Plug in adjustable base(s) and elevate foot of the base(s) to provide more than enough room to attach footboard and tighten bolts. -No need to use Slats or Slat Support Bars, since the Adjustable base(s) will hold all the weight.
