These are nice to keep water and dirt off. However the bird droppings can't be washed off and the sun dries them out. They give off dust as they deteriate.

Easy five stars. I have had these well made, sturdy covers for several months in the Texas sun. They still look brand new. They shed rain without leaking on the chairs under the covers. They are extremely easy to lift off and put back on the chairs. We have lots of dust here, so they are on and off a couple of times a day. They are rigid enough to reinstall by just flipping the cover over the chair: it settles nicely into place. The provided tie down loops at each corner have kept the covers on the chairs in 30-to-40 mph winds. I keep the tie downs snapped together and just loop them under the chair legs when wind is expected. No need to snap anything together. I am 100 percent satisfied with these covers and would buy them again. ... show more
