I purchased this as two 32GB sticks (for total of 64GB) to replace the same brand and series that I had been running with two 16GB sticks. Performance is as expected (although not being officially supported by my MSI Tommahawk board it has worked perfectly) and although 32GB is enough for most applications I just needed a little more headroom for some of the software I run. I went with this particular style because my Noctua CPU cooler limits me a little on height of ram, and I didn't want or need anything with RGB or super flashy.
