Description

The Corsair RGB Fan Hub is, as the name implies, specialised in the control of the RGB illumination of the fans of the manufacturer Corsair. In each case one of a total of six 4-pin connections can be plugged in, for example, the fans from Corsair's HD, LL, ML or SP-RGB series. The hub and the RGB LEDs are powered by an integrated SATA connector.A 3-pin slot on the opposite side connects the hub to Corsair's Commander Pro RGB LED Controller (LULS-271). Alternatively, the optional wired remote control for Corsair's RGB fans can be connected to the slot or the Corsair RGB Fan Hub can be connected to one via an optional cable JCORSAIR header of an appropriately equipped motherboard. On the back is an M3 strip that allows the hub to be attached anywhere. I have 9 LL 120mm RGB Fans and 1 140mm RGB Fan(came with my 7000x case) and needed another RGB hub to have them all lit. You will also need a 3 pin RGB cable, you can purchase one from piratedogtech or make on yourself, This product also JUST got discontinued as the commander core xt was just released as a stand alone. Works great, connects to the commander core xt with ease but the fans will not light up until you set them in software and then after that they're always lit. This has a MSRP of $10 but is now discontinued so stick to around $15 at the maximum. ... show more

I received this product a couple days ago, and so far it's been working great. I had to replace an old one that stopped working, and as of June 4th 2022, it's working just like it should!

I was very excited to get my fans lit up finally. When I went to install this hub I realized that there is no cable to plug into any rgb headers. It comes with a sata cable and that’s it. I go on to find out that apparently you need a controller in addition to the hub. But who knows. Even if you have the Corsair controller does that come with the necessary cable? That’s my focus here. Without said 3 pin 5v cable this thing is useless. I actually thought I had been scammed at a certain point. Needless to say I was very angry when I was forced to scour the internet to find the necessary cable. Thank god my motherboard happens to have a Corsair header on it. Otherwise I would’ve been in about $100 just to get some fans to light up. If you have the Corsair controller and the cable described then this will work fine. Aside from this debacle I went though the hub works. Still, one star is warranted because I find it very bad business to sell something that is useless without a very cheap and crucial part. ... show more

I just installed it into my pc and it works wonders. I’m glad it comes with tape on the back for easy installment. It’s build quality is pretty good, I thought it would feel like cheap plastic, but on the contrary it feels like metal.

Sonic thought this product didn't work either but all I had to do was go into iCue to Lighting setup. There, select your fan type and quantity and then it all works.

I think it would have worked but I don’t think this was the solution to my issue. My lights keep flashing and changing colors randomly and I figured it would have been this part but it did not fix my issue completely. It helped but it still does it sometimes.
