  • Just buy it now and thank me after

Absolutely love this keyboard, all the happiness feedback of a traditional keyboard without making so much sounds that you'll wake the neighbors dog. Feels solidly built, wrist wrest is comfortable AND actually usable unlike a lot of keyboards. Keys are very responsive. Will 100% be staying with these keyboards from now on. ... show more

  • I am in Love

24MAR25 - One month use. What can I say? I have never spent this much on a keyboard before., My most expensive was a $100 Steelseries Apex 5 Hybrid where the coating was already partially worn off a couple keys after only a year of use and they 10 key pad starting to fail. This one though, has the type shot through the face on the keys, not just a painted coating that can wear off. It's a solid, heavy keyboard with a textured metal top and solid feeling keys. What I love is I can turn OFF the caps lock key completely as my muscle memory and fast fingers were causing me to hit that too often. I like being able to set the actuation differently for different keys. It's very responsive and though I replaced the keycaps with pudding caps and purchased a few silicone rubber membrane covers to keep it clean it still works flawlessly. I also like the onboard memory so I can set the keyboard up with its own macros and lighting for different games and software. Also, the ability to assign each key it's own sensitivity and lighting in each program profile is very handy. With as well built as this keyboard is, plus the cover I bought to keep it spotless, I expect this to last a good long time. Being hearing impaired and wearing headphones when at the computer I cannot comment on noise level as that doesn't matter to me. The ONLY complain I have is is iCue tells me there is a firmware update for the keyboard but when I try to apply it it tells me no Corsair product is attached. Still works fine without the update. Pros: Solidly built Options in iCUE Cons: iCUE loses the fact that the keyboard is attached when trying to update the firmware. ... show more

  • Another good addition to magnetic switch keyboards
Size: Full Size
Pros: - Great build quality - Sound dampening foam - Great stabilizers (with a little lube) - Adjustable, magnetic, hall effect switches - Rapid trigger functionality - Very nice palm rest - Double shot PBT keycaps Cons: - 1 particular gripe with iCue (not even specific to this keyboard) Thoughts: As the title suggests, this is another really good, hall effect keyboard! After using a wooting 60HE, I really don't like regular mechanical switches anymore. Pricing is in-line for full sized keyboards. Actually, a little better than the competition with the inclusion of dedicated media keys, and hall effect switches. The rapid trigger function feels so natural that I unintentionally hold keys longer on traditional switches. It just feels so good when you get used to it. Pair that with an adjustable actuation height, and you've got a tangible improvement over regular keyboards. The addition of case foam really helps with the acoustics. No pinging or hollow sounds when you bottom out a key. These stabilizers are also very good, once I applied some krytox lube to them. They were pretty rattly right out of the box, but a little injection on each stab muted them nicely. They also seem to have dampeners to soften bottoming out the modifier keys. I don't really care about the 8k polling rate personally. I would bet money that no one can actually feel a difference between 1k and 8k in a blind test on any peripheral, but it's there if you really care about that. The PBT keycaps are very good quality with good shine-through. I really like the palm rest that comes with the Corsair flagship keyboards. This thing feels really nice, and I wish they would include one with each of their other keyboards; magnetic attaching and all. The only thing that I would actually knock this for, and it's not even an issue I have with the keyboard, is one particular exclusion from iCue. That exclusion is the ability to remap the FN key to something else. It's not that big of a deal for a full sized keyboard (to me at least), but it would still be nice to remap it to something like Caps lock. Why we still can't do that is beyond me, but this is just more of a personal issue I have. The keyboard itself does everything else that I want. Conclusion: If you like or are interested in hall effect keyboards, but don't want to deal with wait times from Wooting, or want a slightly higher quality alternative to Steelseries' offerings, this is a good option. ... show more

  • Shocked it changed this much.

LIke every keyboard, it just for some reason attracts dust and dirt. I have had this in my fairly clean office for 24 hours and already have a few hairs stuck in it lol I just recently cleaned my k70 that I replaced and ...its sad how bad it is again. Anyways, onto the keyboard. This thing is just amazing, at first and currently I'm still getting used to not having feedback on my typing. I have been typing for years on cherry mx browns. I just realized though how much it was hurting my game vs not only just linear switches but these rapid trigger ones now. Its not even close how much I can already feel the difference in CS2. If you play FPS. This is a crazy upgrade. I have a gaming profile and a typing profile for work created and it seems like its fitting the bill lovely. ... show more
