    • the mounting bracket did not fit my motherboard..
Great water block but you have to buy a power hub that cost another. $60.00 or it won't light up which it does not tell you. I had to also purchase another mounting kit to fit my gigabyte motherboard and that kit also didn't work so I had to Frankenstein a mounting bracket. which worked great.

Purchased this in lieu of my longtime supplier, EKWB having their financial challenges. I'm pleased with its performance on AM5 and will likely buy more Corsair products in the future. 4 stars instead of 5 because it's not clear that you need to purchase the separate iCUE System Hub to utilize any of the RGB features, making this less of a deal if your interested in RGB. ... show more

I tried to do the "right thing" and ensure my loop was bullet proof by going with the same brand and product line. Turns out it didn't make a difference. Corsair was overpriced to begin with, but now? I'll never buy another Corsair product again. Not even 8 months and the loop is trashed; cleaning it won't matter since there's already something defective in it; likely the CPU block by how it looks so abysmally green. It says it's part of the iCUE link system. It does NOT say that you are required to buy it if you want the product to function as advertised. I'm done with Corsair. They're getting a BBB complaint and hopefully Amazon will hold them accountable for using their store-front to facilitate false advertising. ... show more

    • Cheap, fragile, looks nice?
Very very disappointed in this product. I bought a new i9-14900K and wanted a new waterblock for my custom cooling loop. I had used EK products before but decided to try this Corsair XC7 this time. First impressions are that it looks very nice, but has very little weight to it. It's not a thick piece of metal like the Bitspower or EK. I also noticed how thin the mounting arms were. Then , while installing it, two of the four threads on the backplate stripped out - from only hand tightening!! I'm no body builder so hand strength is not the problem. This is really an RGB cosmetic toy and not meant for serious water cooled setups. ... show more
