    • This shovel is a beast in the best way
I've been digging up smilax roots and invasive coral ardesia shrubs. Broken handles on several shovels - both wood and fiberglass. This shovel is the answer. It's not light, but it's very sturdy. Works wonderfully to pry up roots. Would buy again.

If you buy this shovel you will likely never have to buy another in your entire lifetime. Seriously. I know, it is just a shovel, but I have purchased 6 shovels in the last five years. The cheap ones with fiberglass? handles are garbage. One only lasted about an hour. This shovel is pricey, but it is less expensive than buying a cheap one every year. ... show more

    • The Big guys shovel!
I love Corona products. All of their products that I have used has been excellent quality. My wife had a fit spending the money on this shovel; luckily for me I have used this shovel before. I knew it would hold up to me. I’m a big guy and have broken a few shovels on jobs before. I bought this shovel for the sole purpose of digging up trees and bushes for new landscaping. Roots of small trees are not an issue at all. One to two strikes will cut through most. Bushes are a breeze if you can work as a team with someone 2-3 well placed strikes and the bush is out! If you are not used to manual labor; this shovel will put you in check. Not the lightest to be digging with all day but definitely the toughest! ... show more

    • Great for hard clay soil
My soil has a lot of clay with a fairly shallow hardpan. This shovel digs through it all easier than any other shovel I've had. With this shovel I don't have to worry about breaking the handle either. It is heavier than most shovels, but still manageable.
