Takes this doll everywhere now!& It’s such a cute doll I can see why she loves it so much. First off it smells amazing- like sugary ice cream. It’s also very soft, so cuddly and squishy. It’s also a perfect size for her small toddler hands. It’s petite features are very sweet. This is the perfect doll for any toddler. UPDATE: My daughter is now almost 3 and still obsessed with this doll. It’s been on multiple plane flights, in the bath, in the dryer multiple times, around the block- literally it’s everywhere she goes it’s right with her and it’s still as sweet as ever. One time the seam holding her head was coming loose and I quickly hand sewed it closed again. It’s just the perfect size for a little girl’s “first doll”. Pretty fair blue eyed doll. Soft for cuddles from 2-3 year old. Nicely scented. Wish it was machine washable with sickness and dirty little hands. Hoping Corolle has a similar doll but larger as my granddaughter grows and will also make it washable. Love their dolls!

I bought my daughter a Corolle doll almost 3 years ago when she was born. I spent days researching baby dolls since I thought many of the options out there were creepy and I wanted to find the cutest one. I decided on the Corolle Calin and my daughter loves her to pieces. She is small and snuggly and just the right size for a child. Her mouth holds a pacifier and after a summer outside in the dirt, her eyes still open and close. My friend’s daughter is about to turn one. My friend always liked my daughters doll and I figured I’d purchase one like it with blue eyes and a mouth that holds a pacifier. I didn’t realize how hard it was going to be. I originally purchased the charming pastel, but was sad to see that she had tiny teeth and her mouth wasn’t shaped to take a pacifier. Next I ordered Myrtille and ballerina to compare. I’ve learned not to buy a doll based on its clothes since I purchase different doll clothes on etsy. For anyone looking to distinguish among these dolls, here are the most important differences: Ballerina- blue eyes, no teeth, mouth accepts pacifier, hands in fists (can’t suck thumb) Myrtille- brown/hazel eyes, no teeth, mouth accepts pacifier, hands open and can suck thumb, slightly more tan complexion Charming pastel- blue eyes, creepy top teeth, mouth does not accept pacifier, hands in fists I settled on the ballerina.
