I got my first set of Corelle dishes in September 2004. They're over 20 years old and still in great shape! The ONLY time I've had one break is when I had it in the freezer for several hours and dropped it. Totally my fault and not Corelle's! I needed some smaller plates and wanted Corelle brand. My original set just has the big dinner plates and bowls. I came across these and ordered four sets to have 24 plates. These are the perfect size for smaller meals and/or children!! We've had them for nearly 8 months now, dropped them so many times, and none have broken. They do not scratch easily at all, they get really clean in the dishwasher but the dishwasher doesn't beat them up at all like some dishes. I love the pure clean white color of these too. I will always buy Corelle dishes because the quality is unmatched!! ... show more

I ordered and received the two sets of 6 that I ordered and they were packed very well when received with no breakage. I’m very happy with these 8-1/2” plates. I’m hoping the 38 piece service for 12 that I also ordered comes in with no broken pieces. These two sets of lunch size plates will then complete the full 12-piece set that I am replacing my heavy stoneware with. Very happy. So far these 12 plates take up very little space in my cabinet. My hubby and I are elderly so we love how lightweight they are. I had a Corelle set about 50 years ago and didn’t realize just how good they were until I traded my stonewear for them. Wish I had kept my old set. UPDATE: Today, I received the 38 piece set and the four serving bowls I was expecting delivery on, and I can tell you they were very well packed. I unpacked, hand washed and inspected each piece and there were absolutely no cracks, chips or imperfections on any of them. The shipping was a little delayed because of the snow storm a couple of days ago which dumped 9 inches of snow here in Amarillo. I am so very well pleased with this set. Can't wait to add pieces as I can. The set takes up only a quarter of the space my old stoneware did! I'm now a Corelle lady for life! ... show more

These look like simple white plates and yes they are. I love them because I know they are spotlessly clean, since there is not design. Having read about colored paints and possible leaching when used in a microwave oven, I chose these and would strongly recommend this for safe and clean plates.

I like them they look OK I checked for cracks and nicks and couldn’t find any but you never know. They must’ve been returned as all of the extra paper in between plates were not organized correctly indicating someone had opened it, took it apart and put it back together inaccurately. Or did they buy new plates and put their old plates in the box and return them. I don’t know. ... show more
