This is truly a great value for what it is. If you want something really easy that takes minimal time to set up, this is your jam. Just temper expectations a tiny bit. This isn't the long-lasting tent for wilderness freaks. Those folks will gladly spend gobs more money on stuff that can stand up to hurricane force winds and survive arctic conditions. This can take some fairly heavy gales, but it's not going to last you more than 2-3 years of heavy use or 5ish years of occasional use. That said, for the money, this is a good value nonetheless. Unzipping the bag takes as much time as setting up this tent. Even the rainfly is a quick attachment. This is my 2nd of these. I never had any leaks. Well, until the seams finally split and frayed on my first one. Speaking of the bag, it's one of those "more than enough room" bags. I've had plenty of tents that have to be folded just right to barely fit in the bag after 30 minutes of fussing with it. This ain't that. ... show more

I’ve had this tent for about 2 and half years now and I love it. It’s super quick and easy to put up, literally done in a few minutes including staking it down. I can’t stand putting poles together, so this tent is perfect for me. I’ve only had one issue and it was a small tear in some of the mesh screen on the ceiling, however I think it was my fault on ripping it and I easily fixed it with some repair mesh tape. Other than that, no issues, it’s very durable. I also appreciate the height, being able to stand up inside is nice. The air flow vents work well also when staked out. I’ve never had any issues with leaking or waterproofing, it works great in the rain. We use cots and its fits 2 with plenty of spare room. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

Have used the tent for two nights and am pleased with the quality. It is best suited for warm weather because of the ventilation through the roof. I like the fact can watch the sky while lying comfortably in the tent but might be an issue if you want to use it in very cold weather. Would think should be fine down into the 40's F or so but recommend a low temp sleeping bag (30 or less) if using in colder weather. Very easy setup and take down. Some reported problems getting it back in the bag but I did not. Simple way is just to lift all poles vertically while holding them up after folding and stuff the contents to the inside. There are videos that demonstrate this method and worked perfectly with plenty of room left in the storage bag. ... show more

We purchased the 6-person Core pop-up tent for its ease of assembly, and it did not disappoint—it sets up quickly and with little effort. We’ve only used it once so far, but here are some things to consider: First, the bottom of the tent feels thin and somewhat fragile, which raises concerns about durability and the possibility of it tearing easily. The rain cover is quite small, only covering the top portion of the tent. While rain didn’t come in from above during our trip, some water did leak inside, as a cardboard box we had placed inside ended up damp. The windows are a nice feature and help with airflow during the day. However, the tent was uncomfortably hot in the daytime and noticeably cold at night. Another drawback is how easily outside light shines through. Light from nearby campers made it difficult to sleep. We also purchased a king air mattress, and it does fit inside with some space left on the sides for smaller items. It takes up most of the tent, but for just the two of us it worked very well. I honestly can’t imagine six people fitting inside as the manufacturer suggests. We purchased the green and gray version, which looks nice overall. In summary, it’s a good tent for fair weather and convenience, but if you anticipate rain or need more insulation from temperature and light, you may want to consider other options. ... show more

This tent is amazing. More than I could have hoped for. I have the smaller Core tent, but found out it was a summer tent. I ended up being woken up at 3am on the Oregon Coast in the middle of a massive storm. Water was raining down on me as the summer tent is only water resistant. I ordered this tent while traveling and camping and Amazon was AWESOME. They delivered this wonderful new tent straight to where I was camping. I did have an address. I am single, so it was important I could put it up and taken it down on my own. It's very roomy and the massive rain tent canopy that goes over the entire tent was pretty much water proof. It helped me through 2 more storms and I woke up during the storms to check for water and as long as you stake the doors out from the tent and keep them taught. You will have a warm and dry sleep. Plus, the black out canopy is a double winner. 100% worth the purchase. I would buy it again and completely recommend it! ENJOY! ... show more

True to the advertising. It was super easy to put up and quickly. Very spacious. Didn’t have the “new product” chemical/plastic smell so we were able to use it right away. The dividers to create rooms were perfect. Helped the kids settle down to fall asleep. Our family of 5 had tons of extra room for shoes, clothes, extra kid stuff (stuffies). It was great to be able to stand up and move around easily. Color was as expected from the picture. It took a little longer to take down but nothing crazy. Under 10minutes for sure. Yes-it’s true-this can be set up with minutes. I literally said to myself “is that it??” Because of how quickly it was set up. Yes do splurge for a pop up canopy tent-you won’t regret it. I purchased a 6 person knowing 2-3 people will sleep in it. If any more people would be sleeping in the tent I would go for the 8-10 person tent. I just like my space and being able to move around. And I can stand in the tent!! I’m 5’3 and can stand in the tent/no being crunched over. My husband is 5’10 and for the most part can stand in it. ... show more
