    • Speed + Rainproof = Excellent
Size: 9 Person With Full Rainfly
PROS: Setup and take down are incredibly fast, it’s definitely designed for convenience. The tent held up in a 7 hour storm that rained non-stop and we didn’t have a single drop inside. This tent is legit! It also has a small covering over the entry where shoes are protected during the night- a must have for me. CONS: The stakes aren’t impressive, I was lucky to have a large spare set with me that I used instead. The fly is cumbersome because of its size. This isn’t a complaint because it’s sized for a purpose, but it’s a bit unruly and takes a few minutes to stake down. During takedown, repacking everything in the storage bag sucks. OVERALL: Excellent tent. If you value speed and keeping rain out, you will not regret this purchase. ... show more

    • Excellent tent with lots of space.
Size: 9 Person With Full Rainfly
My husband and I bought this recently for a glamping trip with our friends and it was perfect. It comfortably fit both of our oversized cots, all of our gear including a dog bed, with lots of room to move around. It ended up raining unexpectedly while we were out and the tent stayed completely dry. My only complaint about this tent is it is a bit tedious to set up due to the size, however I think now that the guy lines are attached to it, future setups will be much faster. The tent itself went up fast, but the rainfly takes some time. One of the best features of this tent is hands down that full rainfly though, and how it sits on this tent. The engineering of this tent is top notch. The rainfly is a good 6" above the mesh of the ceiling, which helps minimize condensation and improve ventilation. We camped in 25F temps and when I woke up the next morning the tent was an ambient 50F, so it trapped heat much nicer than we had expected it to with the tall ceilings. (We had two adult humans and a golden retriever.) This might be a negative if camping in the height of summer, but in that case I'd just open the rainfly/tent more to allow air to flow through. We also had zero condensation on the tent walls, though there was a bit of condensation on my cot underside, so I know it did trap some moisture. Overall, we absolutely love this tent. It was a hit with all of our friends as well, with one of our friends planning to buy one just like it for himself. If you're looking for a big spacious car camping tent, this is a great choice. ... show more

    • The best tent ever!

We just went camping with two adults and two kids, and this tent was absolutely the BEST! It literally took us about 1 minute to set up and only 2 minutes to take down and pack away. It comes with a large carrying bag, which makes packing it up so easy. It rained while we were camping, and the inside of the tent stayed completely dry. Not a single bit of moisture got inside! I’m honestly so excited and happy that we got this tent. When we got home, I asked my 7-year-old to help me set it up, and I was able to put the entire tent together by myself while she simply held one of the poles. Again, it took less than a minute! We also have two Lost Horizon full-size mattresses, and they fit easily inside with plenty of room. Highly, highly recommend this tent! It’s so easy to set up, spacious, and kept us completely dry in the rain. I couldn’t be happier with it! ... show more

I've only used the tent once so far for a 3-day camping trip. When I was shopping for tents, I knew I wanted 1) a full rain fly 2) ceiling of at least 5.5' 3) something I could easily set up and take down by myself 4) preferably with an awning. This tent checks all the boxes! It's a little tricky getting the rain fly on without another person, but it's totally doable. Putting on the rain fly and staking everything is easy, but it took me about 30-45 min (I was taking my time). I hate the crappy stakes that tents always come with and I highly recommend investing in better stakes. It rained every day and not a drop got past the rain fly. I had planned to spray the seams with water proofing spray, but I didn't get a chance since it was raining so much. Even without that, I didn't notice any places on the rain fly that were not water tight. It rained pretty hard several times, but no wind. I was also really happy with the little awning area. I thought it would be too small to be useful, but it was a great place to get my muddy shoes on and off and allowed me to get in and out of the tent without any rain getting in. I'm small so a larger person might not find that space as easy to move around in. I had the rain fly down and covering everything the entire trip and it never felt stuffy or humid and plenty of light still came in. When I laid it out in the sun to dry at home, it was completely dry including the guy lines within 3 hours. It turned off chillier than I anticipated (I think overnight lows in lower 50s to upper 40s) but I was very comfortable in my light sleeping bag and an extra blanket. I'm only 5'2" and I can stand fully upright anywhere in the tent and also reach the ceiling. Obviously, it's bigger than I necessarily need just for myself, but I really wanted the ceiling height and there's plenty of space if I end up having other people. I can't speak to the durability at this point, but I can't wait to go camping with it again! ... show more

    • Well worth the price!
Size: 9 Person With Full Rainfly
Relatively easy to put up. The space is terrific! Used as a family space for eating & relaxing with lots of room for chairs. One person even used one end for a cot with sleeping bag. Lots of options. Windows/screens/ zippers all worked well particularly with rain! I highly recommend.

    • Fantastic tent and Core has amazing customer service
Size: 9 Person With Full Rainfly
A bit part of the decision to purchase my tent was in selecting a company that would stand by their product. I looked at the Core Website and the About the company section. Their story was very appealing to me. They state that they are a group of folks who left their corporate gigs to start a company that they could be proud of. Based on their extraordinary customer service and high quality product, they are living their mission. The tent is perfect. I wanted one with a full rain fly and Core is one of the only companies I found that have those. When the tent arrived we set it up and unfortunately it seems that a machine snagged the tent during manufacture and there were a total of 5 small holes in the mesh and one in the side of the tent. I immediately checked to return the tent to Amazon but to my dismay they had sold out of this type of tent and not even Core has them in stock. I then reached out to Core to see what could be done. Their customer service responded within the promised 48 hours and asked me to upload photos of the damage, the model number and the receipt. Within 24 hours of my upload they responded and told me that the tents are sold out but that as soon as they receive the new batch they will be sending me a new one. They also are sending patches for me to use on the existing tent so that I can still go camping in the meantime. As for the tent, it is exactly what I am looking for. once it was unpacked it literally took less than 2 minutes to unfold and set up. The rain fly was on in less than three minutes. Once the tent is up it does take a bit longer to set the guys and stake the tent to the ground. It's a wonderful tent with excellent quality and we are looking forward to many camping adventures in it. Core is a really great brand. I will plan to purchase other camping supplies from them as I know they stand behind what they manufacture. ... show more

First trip it was great, at first, very roomy, held up excellent to rain storms and wind for three nights. Then, packing up our things while our 4 year old was still asleep inside, one gust of wind against the nearly empty tent was enough to snap the poles, which tore through the rain fly and tent and it collapsed on our child. Thank goodness I was inside at that second to move out our last bag and could use my body to stop the tent from landing directly on him. Dangerous hazard. The wind gust was strong, sure, but not strong enough to even blow over basic camping chairs. Please, please, take extreme caution in Any amount of wind as this tent when near empty will collapse in wind. None of the stakes or tie downs were loose or out of the ground either. Only go camping where there will not be any wind or be sure to lower the tent or partially disassemble before you remove your belongings. ... show more
