It worked as advertised. Clockwise to tighten the rivet, counter clock-wise to expel rivet stem. Some people have reported the rivet end being stuck. I had that issue in the beginning, after which I cleaned it with alcohol as someone else did. Then it worked for a while. But it got stuck again. Then I used WD40, no issues since. NO INSTRUCTIONS at all. Does not work as expected. Difficult to remove pin once rivet is employed. Too often, have to disassemble unit to get pin removed. This unit does not save ANY time vs the old squeeze and pop method. Disappointed.
